Before i address your question i want to clarify this Pol Pot issue you keep on bring up. It seems to me that whenever socialism is mentioned Pol Pot is the first thing that pops to your mind and I think it narrows your vission of what socialism is. First Cambodia is not the Philippines, it would be pointless to analyze the Philippine society with the perspective of Cambodian history due to the historical and cultural differences of these two countries.
Second, we are very much aware and we condemn what Pol Pot did, Pol Pot tried to exterminate the intellectuals just because they are intellectuals and wanted to reset Cambodian history which is impossible and foolish to do so. It is clear that is not the ideological foundation of Philippine socialism, those who aspire socialism in our country consists of Peasants, workers, and Intellectuals.
Third, Pol Pot is not the only personality associated with socialism. In China there was Mao Tse Tung, In Cuba there is Fidel Castro, In Latin America there was Che Guevara, In the Soviet there was Lenin, In Vietnam there was Ho Chi Minh, and in the Philippines there was Andres Bonifacio.
Fourth is clear to us that Pol Pot's method is not effective and in fact destructive so why would we follow someone who failed and instead develop a system based on the analysis of the Social dynamics of the Philippines.

Before i address your question i want to clarify this Pol Pot issue you keep on bring up. It seems to me that whenever socialism is mentioned Pol Pot is the first thing that pops to your mind and I think it narrows your vission of what socialism is. First Cambodia is not the Philippines, it would be pointless to analyze the Philippine society with the perspective of Cambodian history due to the historical and cultural differences of these two countries.

Also purges doesn't necessarily mean killings, it can also be a method of reconstruction of thought and a form of rehabilitation.

Ito ang mga pang-ekonomiyang pag-unlad ng mga estado at sa ganitong paraan dapat sinusuri ang lipunan. Sosyalismo pa lang ang nararating ng ibang mga progresibong mga bansa. Kagagawan ng mga imperyalista kung bakit umatras ang ibang bansa katulad ng China at Russia sa pagiging kapitalista muli.

Majority of Filipinos have ambition in life - you should get one. If you want to go to a Communist university, go to North Korea or Burma, but the quality is shit because they are poorer than us.

martinjom ang internet po ay isang teknolohiya na naimbento dahil sa contribusyon ng mga syentipoko ng iba't ibang bansa. Kung ang teknolohiya ay makakabuti sa pag angat ng kaalaman ng tao bakit hindi ito tatangkilikin ng mga komunista. diba?
Ang syensya at teknolohiya ay ginawa para magamit ng tao kaya wag ka sanang maramot at makasarili, lason yan sa utak mo.
Isa pa.... Wag mong pagtawanan sarili mo kung di mo alam ang sagot.
