Hear lots of versions. This is just beautiful from a real singer. Pity the second verse is not in.

I'm with Glenmed .This struck me with such tender force, Simone just seems more inclined to 'do that'. While her vocals always exceed my expectations, her ability to convey a feeling never suprises me. I do agree that the middle verse would have only added to this, for she, of all 'singers', could deliver another 6 verses, if they existsed, and hold my interest any day.

Of all renditions I've heard, she's the first to help me realize that the lyrics,their meaning have more to do us, than roses.
