hey guys im not that good at this song but i was messin around with it and on the intro instead of goin from the 9th and 11th fret on the G string to the 4th and 6th of the G string it sounds the exact same if you were to just keep your fingers on the 9th and 11th fret but just move your fingers up one string from the G string to the D string its alot easier i guess
@Aturn3d thanks dude but i m still new to the guitaring world, its only been a month for me! on yeah that part the one i mentioned is nothing but the 4th and 2nd fret with different strumming i saw a guys cover n figured it out n thanks to ur vids i cn play some really impressive songs u r awesome!! thanks man!
@Aturn3d dude u miss out one part...the pain of it all, the rise and the.. there are chords for that as well n u did not show it man. its kinda hard to figure out the strumming pattern as it changes in the song...
@landrovar Hey dude I have a question: Instead of moving back to the 4th and 6th frets on the G string and muting the bottom string couldn't I just hit the 9th and 11th frets on the D string while muting the ones above it? I mean I know how it's actually done but couldn't I close to the same sound?
dude .....nice video ... but your technique of teaching is so random that its confusing ... an simmer down .... so fast .... learning seems like a brain teaser.............. dont take it the wrong way... jus tryin to help.... peace,,
For the intro if you're having trouble sliding down, theres an alternative way to play it. After playing the 9th and 11th fret on the G string, play the 9th and 11th fret on the D string. It sounds the same as sliding down to the 4th and 6th and it's a lot easier to do.
if you watch concerts of three days grace playing the song, you can easily see that they play 9 then 11 on the G string then move UP to the D string and play 9 then 11. so that whole 9 to 11 then 4 to 6 is false.
@NightFall475 Think of it this way. More people know how to play this now than before. Plus when a song gets requested as much as this one did, I'm going to teach it
I seem to have come across a problem. I'm learning this song on acoustic, but in the intro (and like) part(s) my DAD strings are much more prominate than string 3. Any help?
@CTRMimic i know what your trying to say,and its a common mistake. what you have to is angle your pick mor upward so that it hits the string not as hard
Hey. I dont know if you're still around youtube any more, but i was wondering if you knew of a guitar similar to the one you used in this video. I really like the look and sound of this one, but 1.2 grand to 1.6 grand is a little out of my price range, being 15.
lovely guitar.

@landrovar Any parts I accidentally missed should be in the tabs. And since they are chords, it should be easy to figure out as well

Don't teach stuff you can't really perform. Otherwise the teaching can easily be incorrect or misconceived by the viewer and played wrong.

@CTRMimic when you bend it you need to kinda wiggle it around, just experiment, you'll get it
