if you guys think assassins creed 2 was way to easy then check out my vids...i posted gameplay with a difficulty mod...now i die after just two hits by anything that does damage....you realy have to think like a real assassin...a battle with even one enemy can now result in death..

cool, and everyone, listen. its just a game, it dont have to be historical correct. like the fact leonardo da vinci actually drawed something we made some years after the drawings, so guns, hidden blade and fly machines could be possible drawings in that time, the game is made so u can use the things that no was made in that time...

Wow ppl need to relax with the historical accuracy crap. Like were you there at the time? This is a fictional game that happens to hide behind the shadows of history. Is it written in history that there was an assassin who's name was Ezio? no. Could there have been an assassin name Ezio. Probably. we dont know. again, it is a fictional game, with a fictional storyline. If this game portrays historical events they are meant to be implied not factual. so relax history buffs.

And another thing, ezio pays him for the stuff.. Just like people REALLY did back then. So there's your precious accuracy. And if anything, they're honoring history by putting it into a great video game. For instance in this game when you come up to a famous historical place you can press a button to read it's history.

I'm with acook94 it's a GAME. It's not a fucking history book. And yes redfactionwilliam, Da Vinci was awesome and great but he was a PERSON. So who's to say he didn't have friends? And he's helping his friend in a time of need. What your saying sounds like Da Vinci shouldn't have friends because everybody is too insignificant and small to befriend him. So chill the fuck out about historical accuracy cause (I repeat) it's a game...

People it's a game. It doesnt have to be 100% historically accurate. The backstory of the series is a guy using a machine to live out his ancestors memories, this game isnt meant to be completely realistic. The devs did as much research as they wanted to.

and what the fuck did we know about altiar?? he was cool but all we knew about the "no personality badass" is that he just WAS an assassin. ezio becomes one to help avenge and protect his family. he has a FUCKING REASON for killing these people. your such an idiot man.. also the "normal man" is a decendent of altair and has the eagle vision ability which is something that ASSASSIN'S use. god you fucking douche bags obviously don't know a good game when you see one.

not just that....Altair had a reason of being...this character here does not have it.....being an assassin was a very hard thing to do like the first one teached us....it has its schools, philosophy etc....here i see just a normal man who became assassin to revenge, like it was a simple thing to do...than what with Da Vinci and those stupid flying machines...are you kidding me...we don't have that thing now in 2009.....very disappointed.

Da Vinci was the greatest inventor of all time, he introduced innovations in art like painting, urbanistic, and did great technologic research in the military and civil fields. He was a Genius with the capital G, and now you want me to tell that in this game is actually the inventor-puppy of this so called nobleman assassin Ezio?? gimme a break...

Leonardo did create a flying machine, but it has never flew nor there are proofs that it was capable of supporting human flight.

Story is important to a game but its not everything. I'm sure the experience of running around during the Renaissance killing and stealing will make up for it.

Besides, in the first game you played a guy who uses a machine to play another guy who can leap off towers into hay bails and live.
