Windstorm 2007... that one sucked. The Seattle area had a windstorm a month before the wenatchee one. I was there for that one too. Good weather that winter...? No, it was lousy.

i remeber this! it almost took out our tree but we got lucky, they power just went out for the night, but others weren't so lucky XD and in the morning i saw my neighbors fencer was completely taken out by the wind, must have sucked to have a wooden fence, i remeber the next day the park across the ymca near the library and court lost most of its trees and my friends house got squished by their huge tree....it was strange having such strong weather in Wenatchee valley

i remember that school was held off two hours to opening; when we got to school, there was a metal shack slammed into the schools sign that sais,"slow, kids crossing" pretty damn funny.

My tree in my backyard fell through my fence and the roots grew under my garage so it took that out too. I was also walking by the hospital in wenatchee cuz my friend made me walk home so i got hit in the face by a flying shingle. IT HURT LIKE A BITCH!!!

I remember this. Our 150' tree RIGHT behind our house in East Wenatchee almost took out our house, but insted only damaged MY room and took out the power lines. All I heard was; Crack..Crack.. Crack... Crack... Wind.. Wind.. Crack..Ccccrraaacckk...wind..c­rack.. BOOM!!!!@@!)!*(&

I went up to Mission ridge in the morning and when we got up there, our truck was rocking back in forth. We went strait home. We were going to stay for breakfast but we didn't. man it was scary!

ROFL, I work up mission ridge, i was up there that day, we all had to "evacuate" but it was awsome, we were folding up snowboards and letting the wind catch them and pull us along.
