Yeah this is a sweet vid. it would be better if everyone was on a grand thought heehee.... I ride a gixxer 1000 myself and I have a friend that rides a R6 (not the S) and he can almost keep up with me in traffic. but once its clear I eat him for lunch!
I used to ride like that through traffic. What stopped me from doing long bursts of high speed was an unmarked police officer turning all of his emergency lights on right before I passed him..lets just say that the radio is faster than any bike out there and excessive speeding in highway traffic is not worth dying over/jail time. not to mention the possible debris (tires, chairs, landscape trimmings, ect ect) that you could run into dumped on the road from someone else .. Keep it safe.
@1100xxcbr Hell yeah man, I hit a fucking 15 foot ladder that came off a truck ahead of me because it was improperly secured, wasn't even going that fast, about 75 mph. I was passing behind the truck to get to an empty lane and was way too close, the ladder took me out hard. Fortunately, had all my gear on and didn't even end up breaking a bone. Still had to go to the ER though. I was fucking lucky.

@tfs32 Its in MPH, a 172 MPH in KP/H is about 276 KP/H so yes, they were actually doing 172 MPH, not to mention if u see how they were passing the cars like they were parked, then u could see thats how fast they were actually going, if he was doing 172 KP/H then he would only be doing about 75 to 80 MPH, and thats about how fast the cars were going when they passed them like they were literally standing still. The highways around my region are in such poor shape that you never know when there is going to be uneven lanes, potholes, an exhaust pike with muffler laying in the road... flying is liberating but it can catch up with you eventually, dial in the level of risk that's right for you.

I used to ride like that through traffic. What stopped me from doing long bursts of high speed was an unmarked police officer turning all of his emergency lights on right before I passed him..lets just say that the radio is faster than any bike out there and excessive speeding in highway traffic is not worth dying over/jail time. not to mention the possible debris (tires, chairs, landscape trimmings, ect ect) that you could run into dumped on the road from someone else .. Keep it safe.

@1100xxcbr Hell yeah man, I hit a fucking 15 foot ladder that came off a truck ahead of me because it was improperly secured, wasn't even going that fast, about 75 mph. I was passing behind the truck to get to an empty lane and was way too close, the ladder took me out hard. Fortunately, had all my gear on and didn't even end up breaking a bone. Still had to go to the ER though. I was fucking lucky.

@tfs32 Its in MPH, a 172 MPH in KP/H is about 276 KP/H so yes, they were actually doing 172 MPH, not to mention if u see how they were passing the cars like they were parked, then u could see thats how fast they were actually going, if he was doing 172 KP/H then he would only be doing about 75 to 80 MPH, and thats about how fast the cars were going when they passed them like they were literally standing still. Why would u even write a comment sayin its in KP/H? where u serious when u typed that?

The highways around my region are in such poor shape that you never know when there is going to be uneven lanes, potholes, an exhaust pike with muffler laying in the road... flying is liberating but it can catch up with you eventually, dial in the level of risk that's right for you.
