  • @LalaSkateboarding

How does he not seem like a rapper? That's retarded of you to say. In Hiphop it doesn't matter what race or clothes you were, or how you look. It's just your lrycism, and flow that make you a rapper. Thats what you should judge by.

  • Fuck the lottery, I just wish I could freestyle and make a song with these guys! Talk about a dream come true...if only

  • This is my jam!

  • I like Common Market better than Blue Scholars. better rapper to me

  • sabzi is pro at looking distant and uninvolved but still looking important

  • @dadreamkid425 you got that mac miller swag

  • @dadreamkid425 i subd i represent my city n all artists from sea stay up dude

  • this guy doesnt seem like a rapper

  • Hey i LOVE both blue scholars and common market!!

stop hatin and saying whos better or not

both have amazing and talk about life, issues that affect all of us

  • free replay button 0:00 u know u want it

  • Is that Sabzi?

  • @PARAN0IDS0LDIER yessirrr he makes the beats

  • These beats make you think

    Thats what I love

  • smooth...nicee

  • dont confuse little talent with underground

    this sounds like amateur night

  • @pipedreamtippler Mac Miller and Chiddy Bang aren't underground.... you don't even know what music is

  • @pipedreamtippler Yeah get fucked mate, you're to ignorant to appreciate intellectual lyrics. Guess you've only heard 1 track from these blokes (*this)? Listen to more and you'll see RA Scion has some of the best flow out. And I aint dickriding, i've heard alot of hip hop.

  • True underground hip hop here.

  • allright allright ,common market bashing is reserved for hicks and iggnorant.

  • Through Mac Lethal and Sadistik, I found Grieves, and through Grieves, I found Macklemore and Grynch, and through Macklemore, I found Market and Blue Scholars(The Town) and now I am on search for more, Seattle is such a rich hip hop area :) All we have is B.Dolan and Sage Francis, and Sage Francis isnt even from RI...

  • @FatalBlur

Spose is fuckin great too. Aesop Rock, if you're not a fan.

  • My hearts yearns for an instrumental...

  • @nightcrawlerliveson sabzi.bandcamp.com .......its #16

  • @Buttsox Thanks!

  • @nightcrawlerliveson no prob.

  • I'll be champion type two, pray for me.

  • now i have to look for trashyness530's comment... -_-

  • Was watching Common's videos then stumbled upon common market, never heard of him but like this song so as all good songs its going in my playlist and will be checking out some more of his songs.

  • this song is just too good....

  • @kyoukilis20 who's coming from the twin cities? Prof, Atmosphere, Eyedea, Grieves, St. Paul Slim, P.O.S., Sims, all of Doomtree for that matter, the Rhymesayers clan. I could keep going. Common Market, KnowMads, Macklemore are all good, but check out some of these MN artists

  • @5izz21E Grieves is from Seattle though.

  • @andrewle8 thanks for the correction. He's on the Rhymesayers label, so I assumed he was from the cities. my bad

  • @kyoukilis20 look up rhymesayers. thats whos comin out of the twin cities. eyedea is my fav. atmosphere is shit comparatively. we have much more to offer than him.

  • I just discovered this guy along with a bunch of underground, while not so much underground, but unsigned artists. It's easy to say that the best artists I have ever heard are unsigned. I love the image that this guy is bringing. Everyone expects, as stated above, saggy pants and alcohol and immorality and repetitive lyrics. The industry is so absorbed in the appearance of the artist. The appearance shouldn't have anything to do with it. Imagine the talent missed because of this.

  • "Local rap legend E-Real once called me “Seattle’s Pete Nice.” I don’t know if that interests you or not, but it meant more to me than the cosign from KRS. Meeting Tha Teacha was a once-in-a-lifetime experience; I’m making sure of that."

What the heck does he mean by that? I just read that in an interview with RA Scion...is that a diss?

  • Hopefully Sabzi doesn't fuck with CM's sound like he did with Blue Scholars.

  • @TheLukieBoi1 oh they arent together. the MC is known as RA Scion and is a new project called Victor Shade

  • @MelloPhunkV3 RA Scion + Sabzi = Common Market, Geo + Sabzi = Blue Scholars.

  • @TheLukieBoi1 rascion.com/vs/ dude trust me they split up. check out his website and new stuff.

  • @MelloPhunkV3 They split up? Really.. Good. Because the way Cinemetropolis sounded, i didn't want RA Scion to be a part of something so fake sounding.

  • @TheLukieBoi1 now honestly i dont think cinmetropolis was a bad album. i bought it. But yeah it doesnt seem to be RA's style. if you hear the stuff he is doin with producer MTK its not his southern-ish style that he had as common market. When he raps, he becomes a character. With CM, a farmer. With Victor Shade, a west coast avenger. so it has a west coast feel. MTK is from LA and known for working with people like Bambu and (oh look) Geo from Blue Scholars.

  • think i've contributed to half them views, cant get enough of the underground baby

  • ah dont forget the scholars...give geo his props

  • WHAT ALBUM IS THIS TRACK FROM...?

  • .....Ok I believe I found it, ' The Winter's End (EP) '

  • @JREP91 its from the Winter's End EP

  • knowmads, macklemore, and this great northwest artists... and im australian.

  • OMGOMG DIS IZ SOO REAL!!1! GANSGSTA ASS SHIT, YO. Come on, Really?

  • @etsdv gtfo you raging homosexual.

  • @etsdv LOL you wanted to see guys pouring alcohol everywhere, women jumping, quater of a million cars, and super saggy pants? Yeah, cuz obviously thats what the hood is like. Gtfo, and go listen to the laffy taffy song or something from weezy... since lyrics that make sense are not your style xD

  • Sabzi produced this, right?

  • @MrBboyHP Right.

  • Iranians are really keepin' it real.

  • @behnriahi yeah but when it goes wrong

  • @kyoukilis20 don't forget Portland man really the whole NW keepin it real

  • Whenever I try to spit like Ra Scion I run out of breath... He is probably the best emcee i've ever heard. His flow is un heard of. Oh and fuck you VEVO get the fuck off real hip hop.

  • too filthy....

  • fuck vevo straight out

  • DONT CLICK THE X ON THE AD THATS HOW THEY KNOW YOU ARE EYES HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO THEIR AD ! THEY COUNT WHO CLICKS OUT OF ADS NOT WHO CLICKS ON ! SPREAD THE WORD

  • 'sees gauges on random chick'

    me: meh...

    'sees gauges on this guy'

    me: oh word, that's cool.

  • From a serious point, I have nothing against Justin. He's barely talented and I don't see why girls are obssessed with him. I'm straight yet man enough to be able say if another dude is attractive and as guys go, it blows me away that girls are obbsessed with him. Idont get. oh and his producers are practically using him.

  • @Issaquan5 faggot

  • @JBards Why, JBards?

  • @Trashyness530 Glad we give a shit.

  • Love Blue Scholars, Hate Common Market

  • @Trashyness530 You hate common market, Then why the fuck are you here?

  • @bikerdoys because im gay

  • @WeHateFatChx - Is she fat?

  • sabzi's filthy

  • That feeling when the top comment is answer to something and you are trying find it desparately =)

  • Why am i the only one in my school that have heard of common market! they are amazing

  • I love your music as much as i have with Blue Scholar they are as good as your. I think that that would blow both of you up if you put enough into it,

  • I love that you shot the second half of of the video in the Trinity Church yard. I take my lunch break there most days. Nice little spot especially for downtown.

    Big fan, keep it up.

  • I love that line..."F-U-C the rest, K I'm a sleep in a second"...

  • Where in the hell have i been that i just found out about this dude -_- . . .

  • @Amaziin661 Common Market is not a dude, there's also a dj and his name is sabzi,he's also a dj for blue scholars (same formula-1 mc (geo) and dj). I think you should check them out and then just keep digging into Seattle hip hop (like grynch, macklemore and others ;) )

  • I just played a show with his last weekend :) He gave me his number!

  • A FEW WEEKS AGO I WAS INSPIRED TO WRITE A SONG AFTER LISTENING TO THE TOWWN RIDDIM PROD. BY SABZI. I LINKED UP WITH THIS CAT NAME $URGICAL AND WE SET IT OFF! • Ryan Abeo reppin the 502

  • Yes, it is sad to see the path that "commercial hip-hop" has taken, but it may turn out to be a good thing. Hip-hop music got corrupted once it became really popular. All real hip-hop heads always talk about "the golden age of hip-hop" and the fact is: that music still exists and serves as inspiration to new school artists such as Common Market, Blue Scholars, Common, Elzhi, Black Milk, Macklemore, and many, many others. Hip-hop being pushed underground led to a new generation of amazing artists

  • SAN JUAN ISLAND 3 DAYS THEYRE PLAYING!

  • love this shittttt!

  • fucking sucks that they split up. victor shade was dope though.

  • @PensFan35 word!! i loved this group! they bring so much passion

  • @PensFan35 They haven't split. They are just taking a break.

  • @eXpLiiiSiT what? i thought scion was finished?

  • @TWheels10 Common Market is just taking a break. RA is doing a solo project and is one of the reasons why they are taking a break. He went under the alias "Victor Shade". It's different but RA always brings it.

  • @eXpLiiiSiT alright while RA is solo saba has been workin with geo (blue scholars)? i heard now that cinemetropolis is finished geo is going back to school

  • @TWheels10 RA is solo for now. They are gonna get back together. I never heard anything about Geo going back to school though.

  • Simply Amazing. Come To Southern Oregon please <3

  • This is DOPE! respect, from out the DMV!

  • Where are the views? Oh I forgot people need to be able to comprehend the lyrics to appreciate common market's genius.

  • @AnswerManofRome oh le duet oh le duet WAKA WAKA WAKA

  • Everyone needs to check out this guy "Input" hes real and ill. Changed my life, maybe he'll change yours. Hes so underground its unbelievable, and anymore real hip-hop is a dime a dozen. Check him out, and spread the word. Peace keep it real.

  • FuCK VEVo.

  • im going to school with ra scion's daughter. she always has a common market shirt on or some accessory associated with that and she talks about how her dads a rapper. this just occurred to me that i know a rappers daughter..cool

  • @WeHateFatChx Get in there bro!

  • @WeHateFatChx Where do you go to school at?

  • @WeHateFatChx fuck her brains out...thats even cooler

  • what is common market status right now? are they releasing something soon?

  • @CloudeaterWC including Common Market, ive only heard of 3 of the artists you listed (definitely checking all the otehrs out).... but you forgot a big one.. Grieves!

  • We need more people to be subjected to this kind of Hip-Hop, mainstream Hip Hop has given itself a bad name with all the garbage that it produces......

These guys if given the right opportunities could change this..

  • Can anyone help. Is common market still together?

  • @Itallianstallion775

    RaScion.com

or look up victor shade, it's an album title and/or alias for Ra Scion

  • @Blaqueflame, Yes, I got Victor Shade joints too and it is another amazing album.

  • Quite frankly I think its sad u gotta really look hard for real constructive music that may actually benefit our societies while the rest of the catchy bullshit that don't mean nuthing at all is just a radio station away. But on the flip-side, I thank God for such artists who put they're heart on their work for more than just diamonds and cars. Support Real Music!

  • @102938ization, Real 100% fresh statement right there. Theres' Hip Hop beyond than just few popular artists.

  • @102938ization I say the same thing as well, but I mostly listen to the radio for something to dance too. Cuz I know that I would never find something as nice as this on the radio. I think that if it were to be on the radios today that it wouldn't as high up there as song about getting money and girls. Damn shame really.

  • I love how much heart there is here, man.

  • dope track...but oh noo..not common market on vevo..daaamn!

  • in the past 10 years the idea of what hip hop/rap really is has warped. glad to see that Seattle rap is staying pure and not rapping for money.

  • @MultiSwimbikerun Common Market is all bout rappin for rappin's sake. Peace.

  • @MultiSwimbikerun guarantee this guy isnt rapping just for his own good. He might be rapping about real stuff, but that doesnt change the fact that homeboy probably wants to make some money

  • @gator4life1 Agreed. Its the people that can make it big, make the money but are still abe to keep it real that I respect. The ones that don't let popular ideas change what they're all about. Just cause your making money doesn't make you whack, its the ones that let the money make them that I have a problem with. Peace

  • @MultiSwimbikerun search up immortal technique,

best non-commercial rapper. A true G and intelligent

  • @j90h He's played out .
