To be fair, he sang it well. For me it sounds a bit "Simon Cowelly" which is not what The Cure were about. The original would never have worked if done in this way but its interesting how these classics are being re-done. Adelle has done Love Song. Lets not forget The Cure. I would appeal to the younger generation to dig out the originals. You don't know what you missed out on.
