I drove Taxi here for six months tell me about it! Three hours waiting for a fear on Wednesdays. The sad truth about money being God is that when money is gone God is gone also! I pray for all the families and the hotel owners because the rich mans chances of entering the kingdom of heaven is the same as some one riding a camel through the eye of a needle!
I've recently been there. I love it. Sure I gonna come back next time... But s.o. should definetely do sth against all the homeless and begging ppl. Those became a real though issue to decide against LV when making plans for trips. As a tourist, you are just attacked all the time for splenderous reasons by suspicious creatures... Not fabulous at all.
Thanks for reply. I found it very strange at night,it seemed that most of the hotels had turned their outside lighting way down or off. I love Vegas and it's a shame it is struggling so badly at the moment. I hope it all recovers soon! Pirate :}
I was just there, it looked NOTHING like this. Guess its like any tourist place now, especially Florida, one day its dead and the next too many damn people to know what to do with.
Not to mention we are in a drought and the utilities keep increasing twice a year. How can we have an increase in utilities in a recession. People already don't have enough money. Look at all the unemployed. Las Vegas is very greedy and this will be the downfall.
Younger generations will not accept these ugly laws in Las Vegas.

In fairness, the video is shot traveling South at Tropicana. The opposite side of the street has the most foot traffic.
But indeed... Strip is dead....

My mother and brother are there now and they both said it is like a ghost town. How sad is this?

My favorite town, this is so sad. Usually the traffic is backed up and there are thousands of people on the streets.
