Actually in the original ending(they posted the script online), they were going to reveal that Sujini is in fact the real fire phoenix. It is because of Bae YJ's injury around shooting the last epi that they had to change the last episode's story. Very sad cause the originally planned epi is really perfect.

While it does seem that Sujini was taken over by the Dark Phoenix/Black Sparrow in this clip, it is later revealed that only the chosen King can summon/unsummon the powers of the four Guardians via his Heavenly Bow. Sujini losing control in this clip simply served as a plot device - albeit a confusing one - to suggest that she may be the incarnation of the Dark Phoenix, cueing her eventual departure. @chidori22roxanne actually, sujini can both produce and control fire. Remember in the earlier episode, when she was still a kid, she and her master was in a cave. Nagproduce siya ng fire dun playfully, pinagliyab niya habang hinihipan ng master niya yung siga to tease the old man pero sinita sya ng master niya, because she was not allowed to play with fire. :) so Sujini really is the guardian.
