  • cant here what this faggots saying

  • yeah alot off design skills on that box lol

  • it is shittttttttttt.. mine just totaly crashed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • two words: red bull

  • does it work with windows 7 and does it automatically shut off when you shut down your computer?

  • mtg salvation cards hes prob not a devil worshiper just a nerd

  • Awesome review! But bad filming skills haha

  • does it work with Windows 7?

  • @davidrulez07 it is plug-and-play, that means that it will work on (almost) any computer (windows, mac, linux etc.)

  • I'm thinking of getting one to use along with my Media Player to see films, etc.

My question is if it will overheat (seeing as it has no fan) after using it for several hours. Anyone know how much it can handle?

  • a satan worshiper !

  • well thats all good but putting Hitachi deckstars in there is completely retarded and unacceptable we had old ibm computer's at our school and they had to be replaced cause of a disk failure wave all the same model and year bullshit deckstars pffft!

  • My god you have a boring voice! Use different tones! Good review though.

  • @chromebadge He did, altough it's very difficult to hear :F

  • 1:51 My god... illuminati?

  • no esata, USB 2.0 is ok but you would expect esata on such a large external drive

  • I have some kind of physiological reaction on this noise produced by LACIE...is this for all models_ Is it possible to do something with it?

  • lol yeah wtf Satan Sign lol, u dont put that on a review >_> on purpose do u.. lol

  • How much design skill does it require to design a black box?

  • @Barry3443 ahahah

  • Well.. if you look at the designers from cooler master... A LOT OF SKILL.

The haf case is one of the most ugly thing I have ever seen... and many companys that desing tech think that it's "cool" to put grills, 5 colors leds, bliking logo and so on...

  • @Barry3443 LOL ++++++++++ XD!!!! agree

  • @Barry3443 Hahaha ... that's exactly what I was thinking ...

  • @Barry3443 but it has a pretty blue light!

  • @Barry3443 Judging by the majority of ugly and over-complicate looking devices on the market -- apparently a lot.

  • 1:50 is illuminati

  • Great Review but what is that i saw on 1:50 ..... Satan Worshiper

  • @AaronBalitskyz haha very funny lol

  • yea, what was with the masonic sign?

  • Mark of the beast is required nowdays ....

"They" named it Symbolism.....is there maybe somewhere serial number with "triple six" ?

Note, in Revelation 19:20, the people who take the mark are deceived! This means they are tricked, or that they do not know the full implications of what they are doing. The may not realize that taking the mark is an act of worship, or that it is an evil action.

  • That was an absolutely brilliant review! Quick and Simple, yet easy to understand and very informative! I hope to one day produce videos on par with this! Thank You!

  • In 2030 people are going to lol at this big device same as we're loling with the 1970s devices.

  • lol this ugly piece of shit will be obsolete by the year 2020

  • Wow, very informative review, awesome! :)

  • This video whould me much more better if you just talked a bit slower. For me, who are not an englishmen or american, it's hard to understand when you speak that fast. Besides that, it was a good video!

  • Just a couple of questions about this drive:

    1) When the PC is powered off (but still plugged in) does the blue LED still show?

    2) Does the drive spin-down?

    3) Can the blue light be turned off?

    thanks

  • Iown the 500 GB version of this HD, and the drive does not make noise. The blue light goes off when you turn the power button off on the back. When the PC is on, it does not affect if the drive is on or not, the user has to turn the drive on and off.

  • Can every One send me the Lacie setup Assistant? Very good Video

  • no one needs to send the Set Up Assistant to you. It is already on the hard drive after it gets formatted and installed. If you need software support, you should contact LaCie via their website. (hopefully you have also registered your product as well on the website).

  • I had a 1TB LaCie Hard Drive (Not the Neil Poulton one), and I found it completely RUBBISH. The disk got very hot and made all kinds of weird noises. After a while it just stopped working and all my data was gone. There was still waranty on it, so I got another disk, in this case the Neil Poulton one. I am pretty satisfied about it. There's not so much noise coming from it and it's still working properly!

  • my LaCie Neil Poulton 500 GB HD works great. I bought it back in the early spring of this year.

  • I noticed that the disk makes a lot more noise than LaCie claims. I have the idea there is a fan in it, even though LaCie says there isn't.

  • Congratulations Neil Poulton! You've designed a black box! I see more awards in your future!

  • Are you being sarcastic?

  • Absolutely not! If I could design a black on black box with a little slash through it, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I just lack the vision to exhibit such extreme design prowess.

  • @8ballbreakandrun

I believe he designed more than just the case the hardware is in...

  • truly one of the best electronic reviews ive ever seen

  • I thought LaCie was pronounced LA-CEE rather than LAY-CEE...

Okay, so does those the drive or drives show up as two drives or one? I should know :o\

I own the 1 TB version and I love it, slick styling and I've never had a problem with LaCie drives, excellent.

  • Very very cool review. Thx

  • eSATA ports and USB 3.0 are gunnu take over quick. Muuch faster transfer rates

  • Usb transfer speed is somewhat dependent on the motherboard you are using (its chipset) However around 25mbit/s seems to be the max archievable on usb 2.0.

  • Awesome review guys. I was deciding between Buffalo Storage and LaCie. Definitely going for LaCie now! Buffalo storage seems to fail a lot.

  • Nice :D

  • Great review :)
