@Johnlindsey289 I agree. I found Mac to be not only butt ugly but kind of annoying as well. And even though it doesn't have any aliens in it, Making Contact's visual style is very similar to E.T., so that's probably why people tend to compare it, and also because Joey's room and closet look quite a lot like Elliot's does. After all, it was meant to be a homage to movies like Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Poltergeist and E.T. and has certain elements of all of those films in it.

I knew that this movie was all about blatant product placement, but I have to admit that I wasn't expecting McDonald's to be so outright as to feature Ronald McDonald in the trailer. Wow!

Certainly this isnt ET but I loved this movie anyway and Jade Calegory was such a adorable boy that time. After a long time search I finally found a copy on VHS, which I will now treasure beside ET!

I was about 15-16 when this movie came out. At the time, I thought this movie was kinda lame. But now that I have seen it recently, I actually have to admit that it's pretty stupid. E.T. rip-off! Whoever made this flick is a straight out fucktard!
