They seemed to have problems doing anything about the software/firmware in certain 2nd gen ipods (including nano), meaning if you want to play movies, games etc you will need a 1st gen ipod. They gave up on the 2nd gen (at least for now) due to the major changes to the interior, which sucks :S

Dude, I've tried installing this so many freaking times that I gave up. I have a 1st Generation 4GB white iPod nano, and I've gotten as far as 90% complete, but it says "Apple firmware could not unlocked (something like that)" and my computer terminates the program. I'm running Windows Vista(unfortunantly). Can anybody please help? I got a suggestion from a friend that it should be easier installing it through an actual linux computer, but I can't one.
