I would get this just to see the videos for each of the songs. The band didn't exist in the MTV era, but were responsible for the concept of the music video with their movies (and Elvis before them, and so on). But if they were in their prime now and had all the digital technology and some great directing who knows what a Beatles vid would look like now? The closest thing is what is going on in this game and I want to see it.

Well after playing the game, i can say the majority of the songs aren't challenging yet extremely entertaining, and songs like Taxman and Helter Skelter made my hand wanna cry. of course the only instrument i play is the guitar, both in videogames and otherwise. :P

I recommend this game to EVERYBODY.

people who say that rock and roll was good before the beatles are mucked up in the head music was just tuning up before the beatles arrived so in theory yes they did start rock n roll.

Rock n Roll has been around since the 40s. The Beatles were amazing, but they didn't invent music as some people seem to think.

The Kinks, The Beach Boys, Hendrix, Mamas & The Papas, Otis Redding, Cat Stevens. That's off the top of my head, there's an entire decade of innovation and general excellence that you're glibly ignoring.

Also, music was not just "tuning up" before 1960 you ignorant cunt. By that logic could you not also state that "in theory" The Beatles invented pop, blues and classical music just because elements of those made it into their work?

1st, its "goo goo g´joob", and second and most importantly, the song is "I Am the Walrus", not koo koo ca choo. koo koo ca choo is a line from Simon & Garfunkel's "Mrs. Robinson".

That is true though! That is just like GhSmash Hits! All the songs are in another guitar hero so why use money on it. The beatles don't have anything in rockband because they don't have the riffs and stuff. It would be OK if they put 5-10 songs as them for DLC instead of a whole game on them!

The graphics seem shabby from only this trailer, who knows. It could be a LOT better, both RB1 and RB2 Gameplay trailers were shabby. Graphics don't make a game good, they're just a nice add on.

this is gonna be the best rock ban game yet, not for difficulty of songs, but for gameplay with the intense storyline they will have and being able to have so many players...cant wait.
