  • Fortunately the Constitution protects minorities against the "tyranny of the majority." That's what this is all about. The majority have no right to use the power of the State to give special privileges to their religious beliefs.

  • @ahermit well said

  • Fight! Yeah! FIGHT FIGHT PUNCH STAB FIGHT SHOOT FIGHT KILL KILL KILL KILL.

    Morons.

  • Great job Mr. Albro. could not agree with you anymore. perfectly said

  • Did he just say that those elected to the board only represent the majority?

  • @sheilafaulstich I think he did...

  • @sheilafaulstich - That's what you want to hear. he is saying the majority wants it to stay up...so they sohould take that into account... simple truth...well said i 'd say...it would be irresponsible of this committee to not consider what the majority of townand the students of CWest really want - and to vote their own agenda...

  • @bigbozzee Sorry, but the court already make the ruling so anything other than removing the banner is in direct violation of the law.

You should really take a civics course.

  • @sheilafaulstich we're talking about appealing here...which, last i checked was allowed by law...they are encouraging the committee vote to do that...the people of Cranston, the students of CWest overwhelmingly support that position. Don't need to take a civics course to figure that out nor to see clearly your ignorance and arrogance with these comments

  • @bigbozzee Sure, they COULD appeal, but quite honestly the 40 page decision couldnt have been more clear.

And, our Constitution protects even the minority in cases such as this. The majority does NOT rule.
