i don't get it. some ppl here claim this song to be very QOTSA-esque. it's not really there. QOTSA is darker and a lil more "haphazard" than this, this sounds more like chilling while driving downtown LA late night. not that i've been there, just the imagery this song gives me.
is it me or has the band matured and become loads more innovative and purposeful for this album? Like, ten times more than they did between the 1st and 2nd album?
Yeah Boots said that he was uber anxious about this one because now he had a reputation to uphold, and didn't want the first two albums to turn into a joke, so he felt he had to put more thought into this one.
I've been rocking this tune constantly. It's a fantastic tune. Can't get a proper copy of the album being in the bloody UK, so have to make do with a download in the meantime.

A good song from a great band - but.....in this song they're letting their love of the Stones overwhelm them - the "kids" won't know the different.

Amazing album... agreed guys, a killer tune. Great groove and guitar sound/vocal melody... makes you want to shake your hips, eh?
Definately a sweaty queens vibe to this track!
Homme stated recently that the new queens will sound like "a (desert) orgy in the dark."

yes im definitely getting the impression josh did the bulk of the writing on this song. even the guitar lines at 2:17 are QOTSA esque
