I kind of wander whether artificial selection is ethical or not, it could be seen as animal abuse to deny one's freedom to choose there own mate, is this selection beneficial to the bird as well? if so then it's probably moral.

I see only theory as to the origin of life, which is fine that is the business of science how, why, when, where, how much, if/then. Good for science. What is the meaning? That is a philosophy question, and it need not be a spiritual answer, however for me that is the one I prefer.

But the problem is, using the term causes confusion as to your meaning and invites religious people to misinterpret you. And I doubt you mean that the Universe is a deity; rather, the feelings of awe and wonder that nature evokes seem almost spiritual. My advice: Just cut "god" out of it. Nature is just nature. And it's beautiful.

Scientists have always been behind the bible. About 3,000 years ago a prophet from God told people the earth was round, but nobody believed him. There is also a scripture in the old testament that says he hangs the earth upon nothing.

Scientists finally caught up about 3,000 years later when they went out in space and saw the earth was round and hung upon nothing.
