  • how could you "prematurely" release something thats been in development for a decade LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @ScorchHellfire ofcourse its possible, anyone in blizzard can tell you that, but just because its possible doeant mean its "likely". i know your like a little kid waiting for your gift from santa and its natural for you to be upset. look at it this way. blizz ussualy announces release date 2 months before they release it. q1 ends in march. its now feb. good chance it would be q2 but not likely 2013. but still possible.

  • By the way hunter, reforging wasn't going to be able to be done on anything over level 50 and nothing of legendary quality so you points are moot. Most of the valuable things on the AH will be the end-game gear and the scrolls of reforging were only able to be used on the stuff people would have been using as a stepping stone and not trying to sell on the AH.

  • o well im sure if it was that good they will put scrolls of reforging, etc in with a patch

  • i didnt even think about the scrolls of reforging in this way to tell you the truth. good points

  • Blizzard delays release -- "why dont they just release the game! they can do all the fixes later at least we can start playing it! its already good as it is"

Blizzard premature's release -- "havent they fixed these problems in beta, what has blizzard been doing all this time, i payed good money to play this game."

as you can see, people are just retarded.

  • This is too true. Sometimes I feel like the majority of people are as impatient and stupid as five year old children when it comes to things like this. It's a sad world we live in.

  • Well said.

  • I totally disagree. If the scroll of reforging would have been so potent, it would have been extremely rare, or if not, no chinese farmer would benefit financially because of its availability.

  • oh shut the fuck up

  • Pff,you're talking about patience and shit while you already got you're hands on the beta and satsfied your curiosity meanwhile others are still waiting for the game.STFU

  • I have a bad feeling that the RMAH will ruin the game... but I guess all we can do is wait another 2 years to see if it does...

  • HUNTER i agree with you because i also want a perfect game

BUT YOU AND THE OTHER YES MEN FOR BLIZZARD FAIL TO REALIZE THE FACTS!

7 YEARS! the game should have been finished by now but the dev team has been jacking off too much and now they are officially 100% screwed. they have cut out so many features that i feel diablo 2 has more complexity. i bet they will cut other big features like real stupid auction house, runestones, or followers from the game. its just a matter of time now...

  • @tuberklops - They just make excuses for Blizzard while ignoring the obvious.

  • @tuberklops They'll add that shit in with expensive x-pacs years down the line. 12 years isn't enough time!

  • It's easy for you to say you're happy to wait, at least you have beta access. If you want to send me a key so I can be content on waiting I'd love that.

  • Whats RMAH?

  • @usafbrownp23 Real Money Auction House.

Basically, Blizzard promises that with Diablo3 you'll be able to buy and sell game items for real money through the in-game auction house.

The catch is you'll only be able to sell to people in your predefined region. US, Europe or Asia. But seeing as how the actual servers will NOT be region restricted (meaning players from Asia will still be able to interact with those from the US for ex.) you can see how people will try and bend the rules.

  • lol your canadian right? your pronunciation on the about is funny :p

  • Oh my god. You just made it all clear.

I haven't even had a thought at the RMAH when having stupid thoughts about the patch 10.

Ofcourse Blizzard has to take their time.

RMAH will change the game so incredibly much that they simply CANNOT afford to fuck the release up when real money is involved.

  • what is a brizza? oh he said buriza, my bad, my bad.

  • @Dunham617 Dude, I got the brizza, on tha rizza, fo shizza!!

  • Buriza worth 2 sojs? You must be crazy!

  • Nonsense. Your argument starts with the idea that high variation leads to irrational pricing, which is bad, and creates an unstable economy. It then proceeds to argue that abuse of an item would lead to items being uniform. Unfortunately for your argument, these two propositions make no sense. Uniform item pricing stabilizes an economy. I'm willing to wait, since with the real money Auction House has soured most of my interest in the game, but offering this justification is flawed.

  • @HunterStarcraft

Sorry Hunter, appreciate your video, but you don't quite fully grasp both points.

First of all, the game, upon release will be far from perfect. There will be many changes being made and many, many more bug exploits being found. Blizzard ultimately does have control over the multi player game and can change it with a simple patch.

  • @mpbarry46 Patchs are not simple, I think that they should had it announced 2 months ago so people wouldn't be crazy like now.

  • @jotathenoble Alright it wouldn't be a simple patch. But still point was that there will be many, many changes and fixes similar to this one, even after release, and it is not a sufficient reason to delay the game.

  • @mpbarry46 Similar? There's still a huge number or things that can't be ignored, they can't release the game yet.

  • @mpbarry46 sick and tired of these comments, why dont you sit in a chair like a good little boy and let blizzard do its job. and no blizzard doesnt owe you anything, ofcourse unless you already pre-ordered then thats you to blame for not looking at blizzard tracking record of releases

  • @missionpupa no they didn't. you are pulling "things Blizzard said" out of your ass.

  • @ScorchHellfire it was on an interview, im not saying that they confirmed its gonna be next year, im saying that the developers suggested it was possible, as you should know by now, if theres no release date, it could be anytime. sorry to break your bubble but thats what it is.

  • @missionpupa Source? I follow all Diablo 3 news pretty closely including all blue forum posts and their interviews at various events and with fansites and I've never read anything of the sort. Last time they said anything about it, they are still aiming for early 2012 and are guaranteeing sometime in 2012. There is no reason whatsoever to think they would delay it over 11 months. You are either misinformed or pulling stuff out of your ass.

  • @ScorchHellfire you are following all the news? obviously not.

like i said, theyre not saying its gonna be till next year, but theres a chance that it would be, arguing with me doesnt make the release go any sooner so save your breath.

also just because blizzard said their aiming for early 2012 doesnt mean its gonna happen, they also aimed for late 2011 what happened to that. there were major "core" changes in the game that theyre changing that made the set back.

  • @missionpupa I know that just because they are saying they are aiming for a certain window doesn't mean they will hit it. My point is you have no source for your post that someone at Blizzard said it would possibly not come out this year. Nowhere have they ever said this and you can't back up your arbitrary bs. I do follow many Diablo 3 fan sites and the official site and I have never seen such a comment from them. If that statement had been made it would be all over said fan sites.

  • @ScorchHellfire since youre a big "follower" of the news, im sure youve heard the new one. release is now q2 april-june, be happy that this time theyre actually planning to release it to that date and not stalling for more time.

  • @missionpupa I think you missed the point of my comment. I was in no way bagging on Blizzard, I was addressing the idea that Hunter thinks we should delay releasing the game until it is perfect. He used the bug mentioned as an example, saying that it would have been game breaking. I pointed out that upon release there will be many bugs still in the game and Blizzard still has a process ahead of them and it isn't a reason to delay the beta; it's natural for a game

  • @missionpupa Nothing I said was in any way complaining towards blizzard about them not doing their job, or them being too slow.

  • 199 damage to 200 damage isnt 1% more damage. its 0,5% ;)

  • If you are willing to wait for a perfect game, you will wait forever.

You obviously have no idea of the process behind software development.

    1. The game is more ahead than patch beta 10.

    2. Patching of the game post-release is going to introduce more changes over time than these tweeks we are now seeing.

Doing this in the beta is that they can do character wipes.

The only reason they can pull this, "infinite beta", bullshit is because it's blizzard.

  • So your only example is a superfulous feature, that Vadoff mentioned you don't even understand, and something that could easily be removed in any patch quickly. GJ

  • I don't think you know what scrolls of reforging actually do:

-Scrolls of reforging cannot be used on unique or set items.

-Scrolls of reforging can only be used on magic and rare items that are level 49 or lower.

-Scrolls of reforging gave the item entirely new affixes, as well as permanently reducing the durability of the new item by 10%.

That said, it's good for the dev team to start cutting out superfluous features otherwise this game can take until 2014 to come out.

  • @Vadoff blizzard already mentioned that there is a chance that it wouldnt be released this year, probably early 2013 the worst, but i wouldnt go as far as 2014.

  • @missionpupa doubt it since most beta for games are out for like 5-7 months and then the game comes out like 1-2 months after beta close

  • @idreamoflittlekids im not talking about the beta, im talking about the release, are you following me

  • You're neglecting % of a success versus the amount of money invested on each use of the scroll of reforging. These variables can be so drastically different yet remain valid to your argument in the video.

Another thing to mention is that scroll of reforging comes with a repeated major scar to the item. With enough iteration(a maximum of 90% durability gone), you may be left with a perfect item that breaks on the field too often to be used.

Im just saying its too early to make these statements.

  • I wish DICE had the same style of releasing as Blizzard..No one likes to play unfinished games.

  • Comment removed

  • Good reasoning on the scroll removal!

  • Much respect to Blizzard for doing this.

  • Scrolls of reforging couldn't work on items above a certain level, but I do agree with you and it's overall a good thing for them to take out of the game. Now the blacksmith on the other hand has the potential to reroll stats on items over and over with a potentially high cost, and that is something I can see benefiting the economy. Hopefully there are plenty of unique (Legendary) items and rare items that are still exciting to find out in the world as well, which I'm sure there will be. =)

  • I Agree

  • why was this video made? I didn't sub to hear stupid obvious shit.

  • @l3urton Please dont be a dick

  • Even though the way Blizzard releases gamea annoy me, it's for the best. Blizzard always delivers top quality games. A rushed game will never be as polished.

  • It comes out when it comes out. Pretty simple.

  • Hell I started to play US East NL the other day again, made a wolf barb today for something to do. D3 would be nice to play before summer this year...
