I was really impressed with this film when it first came out until a few years later when casino royale came out with Daniel Craig. After that I realised how cheesy and far fetched this film is, its like agent cody banks or spy kids.

For those of you commented on Wagner, did you actually learn film aesthetics and and editing yourself?

The original Bond films were casual and smooth and very clear, now it's all cut quickly and fast paced, which makes it looks rapid and terrible. Terence Young was not only the best Bond director, but was actually Bond.

What Wagner talks about in his editing style (ie: constant camera motion) is probably why so many people are coming down with ADHD! Look at the other films that do this: they stay on a scene for barely a few seconds before another image is flashed. Just like a kid who cannot sit still.
