@Xonij1 Howdy. You are fresh blood I see, xD First off, the cliff tool you are using is for the back of cliffs (the parts you wouldnt see, such as a cliff wall North). It is hard to explain how to do it properly, its even harder for me to suggest what you SHOULD be doing since that is probably over your head being you sound like you are new to the map editor (it be kinda cruel to tell you to do something even I suck at doing).

There is a manual that you can use under options (F1 maybe?)

Might be best to post it in ppm since people may be helpful and make you a better mapper (or be assholes, depends on how you present yourself). I think you would get better help from them then me.

@TheRa2fan yes, but superweapons must be on. Keep in mind you can not get multiple copies of a superweapon in the sidebar useable.. It would just have multiple silos launching the one missile as an example. If superweapons are off, then the building will be useless.

@TA1LGATER Through triggers, and that requires reinforcement trigger knowledge, which is a bit more challenging. I personally do not know how to do it, I just know how to make them magically apear. As for superweapons, no. Not possible for plain yuri's revenge period. There has been sloppy work arounds, but the only way for paradrop superweapons to make vehicles apear is by using hacks.... So maybe make a mod instead of making maps?

@xLordLeroyx i heard there was a bug when you have more then 1 period... so I do not know. Ares fixes this, but you wont be able to play online with Ares with other people unless they have it too... and with Ares, you might as well mod too.

At 4:00 you set parameter to "Player @ A" I do not have this and when i create it it doesn't do anything. how do you make the parameter's to equal a set value.

i downloaded an arctic circle 2 map and it has triggers in it that allow civilians to attack at random with tanks, seals, etc. the only problem is they only attack human opponents, Does anyone know how to modify this and make them attack both human and computer controlled opponents? I have tried EVERYTHING and can not figured it out, any help appreciated, thanks.

@justinhhhfan If it is for RA2, this be impossible I beleive. There is a tag in the Rules.ini that asks if computers can attack one another, but I heard it does not work. I also do not know wtf this tag is. If this is for Yuri's revenge, then I have no idea... it usually just works.

Well I got bored, started skipping around in some of your video but your statement @ 2:46 is absolutely incorrect. Elapsed time is in game seconds, which are equal to 15 frames. By setting 30 as an elapsed time, your telling the game to fire the trigger after 450 frames.

Game speed settings determine how fast the game tries to run as well.

Slowest = 10 FPS

Slower = 12 FPS

Slow = 15 FPS

Normal = 20 FPS

Fast = 30 FPS

Faster = 60 FPS

Fastest = fast as your computer will possibly display it.

@LLJ1992 if you installed yuri's revenge, inside you tfd folder should be Red alert II folder which inside has RA2. If you dont have that, then You dont have it installed. if you do have it installed but you can not find the folder either, then you may have it hidden. creating it would be pointless since the mod has to be where the games exe (gamemd.exe)
