Pitchfork just did a review on this and i'm glad to say i found this. The recording is great as well, hardly overdubbed, sounds like he just did it and that was it. realistic music..
@dreamofshrooms I bought a mint condition early copy without an EMI box above the word HARVEST on the record label,which was introduced to the label in 1971.I don't like to play it much though in case I spoil it !! I have a similar condition copy of RAINMAKER but that is a later copy from or post 71 as it does have the EMI box on the label.I'm glad to have got them for a reasonable price,but not QUITE so glad as to get an absolute mint condition early press of one of my fav albums Roy H. FB & B
Interesting - what's the difference between the version you uploaded and the one I uploaded from Almost Alone? It's the same song but sound so very different. What album is this off? This is good, more contemplative than the other.
this song is one of the most underrated songs of all time..

@wooboy11 Isn't that a fact ! I just learned about him in April issue of MOJO Magazine.
They rated it 5 stars... highest possible.
Even his voice is early Bowie-like. Good stuff. (And I've only listened to 3 songs so far.)
