Can u plz tell me the color of PIA staff uniform? Do u know the color of PIA porter's uniform? U don't know shit about PIA but u may have had a bad experience with PIA. It does'nt mean every body is corrupt every where. V the passenger makes them corrupt bcoz v donot loose our pockets when ever there is a legal demand of money from them. Wat v do is ask 4 a way out so to save some bucks. It is not PIA but any where v go, v want short cuts,illegal way 2 save or give money 4 our illegal works.

I am refering to those that have developed a habbit for asking for rishwat. May Allah swt bless Pakistan and all those that strive to make it a better place Ameen.

@kingharry14 the airport porters are not allowed to take money from passengers for extra luggage, especially without providing a receipt. There is a difference for paying for extra luggage and with seat being sold to passengers on standby tickets even though seats are available!

No2: i've travelled through Islamabad airport many times No3: PIA staff/management and airport staff work together to 'rip' people off - a PIA manager said 3 time "there are NO seats" but when i presented him with the video a seat appeared straight away! It seems either you or someone from your family works at the airport!

@CommissarPravda If i ever experienced such treatment by another airline i would make other aware of it. But if i live in the UK and the nearest airports to me are Manchester or Birmingham then why would i want to check out Air China?? I must say since i've made this video public on You Tube things are getting better with PIA. I pray that Allah (SWT) protect Pakistan and everyone/thing connected to it, Ameen.

Seat trading can only take place at the check in counter. Looking at this video does not prove anything. Perhaps it looks suspicious... Its more hassle arriving at ISB then leaving as customs and porters know newly arrived ex pats have pounds and dollars and only leave when funds are running low.

On top where this guy was satnding a banner saying "ANTI CORRUPTION NUMBER" I was very disgusted and furious I felt like! I gave him 500Rs "IN THE SIDE OF MY BAG".

In pakistan references SEEFARISH and RISHWAT and there you go you can fight anyone, I hope these people dont feed their kids on this money its disgusting.

I have just come back from Pakistan, roughly a week ago, I travelled alone, I don't what what department they belong to, the one who check your luggage straight when you get in.A man dressed in white uniform told me to open my bags he said you have got something in your bag as everyone does I told him look I dont have anything in my bag that is illegal or suspicious, he very cheekly asked me okay I wont take anything out just put 1000Rs in the SIDE OF YOUR BAG, I said why if you have to

@4mirza I refused to hand over 'Chah Pani' or Rishwat and was then told by a senior PIA staff member that no seats were available. But as soon as i showed him the video i made a seat became available and my luggage was sent through without being weighed and a boarding pass given to me. Once on the plane there were many free seats. So CAA pr PIA they all work together in this airport

i did the flight with PIA from ISB-LBIA, and from my experience, i believe it is a good airline and i would say it is better than others in terms of services. their staff were very polite and friendly. the only 1 thing i think they should work on it, is in-flight entertainment and the aircraft was Airbus A310 -300, which is okay....

a a310 is very okay to do flights like this , actully we people are expecting more but we don't look at the price we bought a ticket we want luxery for a price like 250 ponds ors 500 euros and thats the big problem, we need more people like you !

My whole point is, i wanna see PIA on the top, :)...thats it! i am not saying this for "my country airline" but this is what i've experienced with them. I think it is alot better than other airlines i have flown with :)....and want to see them to try their best and provides a high customer services and meets their customers expectation...thats it! :)

I have wittnessed a relative to me had to take a flight from Pakistan to Europe.

The family member was told ; No Tickets !

Only available 1 st Class ticket !

The family member paid for a first-class ticket and boarded the flight....

In the cabin there were plenty ..PLENTY seats at economy class !

I have been talking with some friends and relatives , and I am astonished by the number of stories they can tell about overbooking and problems with the tickets.

It sounds like the tickets for PIA-flight are sold out , and then one has to either pay extra for ticket , or buy a business-class -ticket.

hi every one..the important point is that this is the scenario of inside airport..and without ticket security official don't let u enter in the airport..Secondly the most important tickets are always registered on the name of passenger. no one can travel on a ticket of some one else...

@MQMrules at from the same kuli. A person sitting next to me paid £200 more on top of what he had already paid for his return ticket just to get back to the U.K. for his brothers janaza/funeral. So don't tell me it was a charge for services rendered. when i showed PIA staff this video i got a seat straight away. And guess what there were empty seats on the plane. RISHWAT that's what Pakistan has and still is running on unfortunately

Although, the Islamabad airport is known for this kind of crap occurring. every airline operating out of that airport probably supports bribes. Its so corrupt, and whats even more shocking is that these people continue to get away with this on a regular basis. It embarrassing that foreigners get this terrible impression of our country. The airport staff could definitely benefit from some authority.
