  • I think it was a very good video. You definitly gave good advice.

    Someone actually just said something to me that is making me feel self-conscious and this video was helpful.

    It's still really hard though...to change the way you think. It's hard to fake confidence.

  • @Janey325 Changing the way you think is something that will occur without you realising it. Your subconscious believes what it is told by the conscious mind. So if everyday you tell yourself you are confident, even if you think you are blatantly lying, your mind just registers that you are confident. Faking confidence can be hard but it's easier to play pretend, detach yourself from the situation so it's easier. What's the worse that could happen from pretending? You start to believe yourself?

  • Your way was the same way I used to build my own confidence. Deciding to be and then pretending and then it just happened. All those issues are just in your head, so when you've reprogrammed your head into not believing those issues - you're going to feel a lot better about yourself. :)
