I remember the technical problem that night, but here the sound its good, even Colin and Ed were making signs about to put up the volume on Johny's guitar
there is know similarity between the two songs, at all. considering t'lucky' was written years after 'slide away', i'm sure radiohead was thinking we should make a song similar to 'slide away', not. i'm sure if they felt it turned out to be even remotely close they would have gone back and have re-written it.
ok thats a great song and they have made loads of amazing songs and iv been to see them live twice and they were great but as musicians radiohead just blow oasis away the first songs i ever learnt to play on guitar were oasis songs an if you ever get the choice of oasis or radiohead to see live go for radiohead trust me iv seen them both live an radiohead were better than oasis the chilis and pearl jam
exactly, oasis was alright, but liam losing his voice wasnt their nail in the coffin. they simply did not, and never will have enough talent or creativity to sustain themselves. case closed.

Oasis is a great little rock band, but Radiohead's stuff goes much deeper

how can you even compare Radiohead with Oasis ? Oasis lack the formal variety, originality, innovation and intensity that Radiohead always enjoyed

search youtube for "Oasis - Wetlands NY - 29/10/94 - 09 - Slide Away" If liam hadn't lost his voice, they'd be radiohead's equal today
