But let's just say I wouldn't want to go near the things. Near enough to see them eat some insects, but not enough for me to get trapped. I'd rather drown then have a larger version of that thing slowly devour me.
We recently visited the Mt Tamborine (Cedar Creek Glow-worm Caves (in SE QLD ) and we have our DOUBTS in the Validity of this very short man made Cave. After viewing youtube and researching, it would be worthwhile a reporter to investigate this cave. The gardens, the construction of the cave and the wines are all amazing but the tourist attraction or lure would be the Glow-worms.
one day, maybe humans can clone n get such glow genetic capacity... perhaps on our hair ... or our fingertips? dont suggest else where which are not really necessary... then we perhaps.. dont need to use so much electricity n light bulbs ? jus kidding..
Close cousins of these glow-worms are found in abundance at Dismals Canyon, in north Alabama, United States. Its a very unusual group of flies, very closely related to the fungus gnats found in Australia and New Zealand. The insects use the light to attract tiny flying insects into a web-like substance. They are known locally as Dismalites.
that is most definatly the most fucked up animal in the world ahahaha but i wonder if its good at "fishing" i wonder what fishing with the worm would be like xD
It was the Drosera capensis...I seen the flytrap as well. I took picz, not good 1 though. Stupid cam...Saw them in canada. They grow on the type of weird soil. Believe it has to be moist
lol. i watched this video in science. i thought what the hell are they showing stars for. then i saw strands of blue and i thought if i was there i would run through them. then i thought hell no.
ewww i'm dead scared of worms but if i'm going to New Zealand is this worth seeing?
whatthefunnyword 7 months ago
@whatthefunnyword Yeah, they can only be found there, and I think you can go by boat through the caves as a tour.

You probably have worms in your gut right now from all the meat and junk food you eat.
I suppose you work in a cubicle, shop at the mall and drive everywhere.
All hail, the sanitization of everyday life.

well not really the barnacles are bigger and have a tongue that hangs down and have really sharp teeth and they are aliens

I meant in design, these glow worms inspired the design of them. So in concept, they are the same.
