@bahasajawi No, most are Christians. Most Muslims in Madagascar live in the north of the island and many are of non-Malagasy descent.

These people are Merina/ Malagasy from Madagascar. Merina are the Malagasy mostly from the Capital of M/kar Antananarivo and region.
