One little question though.

The first time I installed a theme using this tutorial it worked fine, but now whenever I select one of my "installed themes" it gives the computer a Windows 98 look. All the other pre-installed Aero themes work but the themes I installed arent. I'm particularly asking this because I fell in love with a theme called Uniko.

@iVideo1011 It could, like any other program, add on etc.. but I don't notice a significant difference when using custom themes. You might if you have a somewhat bad computer, as in a single core.

@TheMark073 Dude that sucks... thats like the lowest version of Windows xD no surprise though, it can only handle so much because its "starter" xD I highly recommend you upgrade to Home Premium or better if you want to at least do anything decent with Windows 7 xD

@TheMark073 lets say you get Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade, all your files/icons/documents etc.... will just get transfered over, if you get a new complete install, in your C:/ drive it will create a Windows.old file which then you can just pull all your documents, pictures/videos/music anything you need off of it, I recommend you delete the folder after your done getting everything, its a waste of space to have it, a lot of your games should of just got transfered over.

@JeDaaRe1 Download the uxtheme or UniversalThemePatcher again, run as admin, then when you do that instead of patching, restore and your installed themes will not work thustfore it's gone and thats it.
