The episode "Grievous Intrigue" did an especially great job of showing all the different sides to him.

I think the version of Grievous we see on the current Clone Wars series is a very well done combo of what came before - he is dangerous, he is nasty, and we've seen him kill a Jedi, in the episode "Lair of Grievous." He's also the "coward" he's described as in Revenge of the Sith - he will fall back or cheat by calling in help when he's losing. That doesn't mean he isn't still dangerous and deadly though.

Yes, the Tartakovsky version was more powerful/formidable, but that's also how ALL of his characters were, including the Jedi, who all seemed to have God-like powers - very fun/cool in these shorts, but not at all how they are portrayed in any of the films.

None of you know what your talking about. General Grievous was created by George Lucas for Revenge of the Sith. Genndy Tartakovsky was given info on the character so he could first be seen/introduced in the Clone Wars micro series, but he was already a part of the already being made Episode III.

This is probably General Grievous' most successful military campaign against the Galactic Republic and the Jedi. I don't like how the fact that in the Clone Wars (cgi) series had him always defeated and be somewhat arrogant at most times. He's the Supreme Commander of the CIS army. He had to earn that rank, anyway. Hopefully in the near future that they'll have Grievous more complex and realistic. I can only hope.

This is the awesome General Greivous, who only could be killed by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, while all other jedi would shit their pants just thinking of him.

In the new series all random jedi, like Kit Fisto can defeat him, and even clones and Ahsoka can hold him of for a long time.
