  • such ahappy song, always make me feel awesome when i hear it xx

  • Thank you FlashJ0mm for introducing us to this band.

  • it sounds the beggining to a football game

  • when we run we will run forever, no one will understand

  • Holy balls guess what my friends uncle is jim conti!!!!

  • everytime i listen to streetlight manifesto's music, i feel like im in mexico with some dudes in sombreros, just dancing

this is a compliment by the way ;D

  • It's stupid how good this song is.

  • Are there any bands similar to Streetlight Manifesto I should check out? The only artist I can think of right now that resembles this is Less Than Jake.

  • @TheWildSeraph reel big fish

  • @AidsAhoy Yeah, I know of them. I was talking less about ska in general and more ska punk like SM and LTJ.

  • @TheWildSeraph I highly reccomend The Suicide Machines. They're an awesome Ska/Punk/Hardcore band from Detroit. Listen to Destruction by Definition and Battle Hymns and if you like what you hear check out their last two albums "A Match and Some Gasoline" and "War Profiteering Is Killing Us All."

  • @SMfan199 Give and War Profiteering are such bad ass songs.

  • @TheWildSeraph Try Operation Ivy.

  • @straightedge442 Fro operation came one of my favorite bands growing up: Rancid is the shit

  • Comment removed

  • Oh ok, then you're all set there haha. Matt Freeman is the best bass player in history.

  • @straightedge442 I know! the main reason why I was so drawn to them was the bassline in journey to the end of east bay. Been listening to them since I was a kid. They're one of my all-time favorites.

  • @dirtyhead4life That bass line is so incredible. That was definitely at least part of what drove me to his stuff. Jesse Michaels wrote some awesome lyrics too, which is one of the main reasons I love Op Ivy.

  • I have no idea why I keep on thinking of Kenny out of South Park when I listen to this song.

  • I can feel the bari. I feel it deep in my soul.

  • @apellegeezap I would gladly learn this song for you on my Bari.

And serenade you with it. xD

  • i heard this song twice and its such a rush!

  • i wish i can press a like all button so i dont have to go to all of the songs and waste time pressing tht dam button instead of listening to this awesome ass music :(

  • Who dare put a dislike button on streetlight. It gives me the creeps

  • @Chaocaster11 @Nova1Duke you guys are here too! :D I thought i was alone

  • man i love ska!

  • ...Run 3....

  • @Nova1Duke True that . . .

  • @Nova1Duke that's the reason I know this song

  • Think this is awesome?

    Watch the animation

The character may be crappy but the overall story is EPIC

    Search We will fall together

  • Oh Bari Sax player.....

I don't know whether to love or envy you.

    I feel so inferior >.<

  • Reminds me of my first year at Uni/college. I slipped in beer while skanking. Standard night.

  • That sax...

  • you have to know these guys are good because pink floyd is suggested lol

  • @ZombieChimps fuck Ignorant ass bitch You

  • @yougotityesyou hating Pink Floyd doesn't make me ignorant...

  • @ZombieChimps hating on a talented band makes anyone ignorant

  • @ZombieChimps i think i know wut u mean, ppl freak their shit when i say i hate the beatles

  • @Dem640 exactly. it's like ur not allowed to have your own opinion when it's about something popular...

  • this song gives me shivers. fuckin epic :D

  • 1:33 ^^ fuckin good chorus.

  • This song is so badass. :D

  • You know, at first I didn't like Streetlight after hearing it on my brother's playlight, but it grew on me fast. Now I love them.

Though no one else does. That's just sad. They've all been brainwashed by Justin Bieber and Eminem and all those other strange singers. They don't know what real music is... >.>

  • @WeepingWillowist So true. Too bad they aren't as popular as them.

  • edmonton show was amazing. mosh pit romance. long haired boy whats your name?

  • When you played this song this night at waterstreet... holy fuck. Im just some stupid 14 year old kid and I still know how good this music is. You guys rocked the place, first time I crowd surfed to the barrier without getting dropped. Best concert ive ever been to.

  • @DoityDeagle dude there were so many crowd surfers im surprised nobody got dropped AT the barriers. that was a great show

  • and boom goes the dynamite SKA

  • my boyfriend loves streetlight, and now he has me addicted to it hahaha :)

  • @bandbaby2015 smart boyfriend ^.^

  • cant wait for em to come to Milwaukee on Feb 17th.

  • woah

  • incredible band. wayyy underrated.

i can't express how integral this band is to my life.

  • Just...epic.

  • Oh, listen to that sexy trombone.

  • @reelinginn yea

  • just go download the segment of the AP Show when Tomas was on it and states they are influenced by Ska but they arn't a Ska band

  • How about we lable this user as gay and shut the fuck up and listen to streetlight?

  • @TheSynisterxX GAY RUDEBOYS UNITE!

  • @Ibogaine306 GANG CONTROL!

  • @dylanmooreZ CRACK ROCK STEADY!!!!

  • @papason4041 BORN TO DIE!

  • @dylanmooreZ ROCK THE 40OZ?!

  • Love the horns in this especially from 3:08 and on

  • I love the bass in this

  • Dear xpredox, you seem like a dick and i hate you

  • Dude expredox, calm down. They might not classify themselves as ska, but listen to those horns, it pretty ska

  • @xpredox im not saying just beacause of horns, but listen to how they play! only something ska related could be that awesome

  • @xpredox just saying, it's the style they play the horns with, and listen to the bass too. They're ska, and if you try to say they're not then just listen to first wave ska, and then second and third. Each wave has a huge difference, so even if they seem different it doesn't mean they aren't ska. Oh and a lot of bands say they aren't pop punk. Does that mean that they really aren't? Not trying to piss you off, but don't forget they have "Riding the Fourth Wave", meaning fourth wave of ska. <3SM

  • @xpredox

i think this is ska because the saxofon and the "trompeta"(sorry i dont know the mean in english)

  • @xpredox what ever it is just chill and listen to the music

  • @xpredox i think you you don't know anything about streetlight, good song tho

  • @ikorolou hes got a good point dude

  • this isnt music. no way... its art

  • The 4 people who disliked this video should be beat down by Tomas's gutair.

  • 4 Sum41 fans watched this video >_>

  • @StarvinMarvin1990 i like sum 41 you gotta problem bitch?

  • @StarvinMarvin1990 I like this band AND sum 41. Is there something wrong with liking a wide variety of artists? I don't think so. I'm fed up of haters, just listen to the goddamn music people and stop arguing over genres/popularity etc.

  • @EdsAlchemistFriend you are fucking the same as me, you sir are a good man

  • @dennipoo700 actually I'm not a man :P

  • @EdsAlchemistFriend fine then :P you maa'm are a good women! happy? :P :D

  • @xpredox, you like Streetlight, Rx Bandits and At the Drive-In. I believe we are soulmates.

  • This band rocks go ska its the future

  • please check out my band we need some feedback and views

check us out just search consider it wednesday in the search bar.

    thank you

  • I got a gun in my hand but the gun won't cock. Got my finger on the trigger but the trigger seems locked. I can't stop staring at this tick tock clock. And even if I could I would never give up. With a vest on my chest, a bullet in my lung; I can't believe I'm dying with my song unsung. And even if I die won't you bury me alone? 'Cause I'll never get to heaven if I'm singing this song. whoops wrong song :D

  • @scotty61990 what song is that?

  • @dennipoo700 Point/Counterpoint By streetlight manifesto

  • @dennipoo700 Point Counterpoint

  • TellsBells!! :D:D:D Ich komme!!

  • i hate types of music why cant it just be music?

  • What is SKA? who knows.. most people who listen to this knows what makes a band classify as ska but all I know is they classify as Kick Ass and Godly

  • Would You Be Impressed? got me...then everything became a beautiful bluuur

  • Love this song, mostly because I play all these instruments! XD

  • try the mad caddies. they're greatt :))

  • i'm just getting into this ska/punk type of stuff, anyone wanna point me in the right direction for artists,

    I FUCKING LOVE STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO

  • @SKANKI5M

For ska you can't go wrong with The Specials and Madness

For Punk try The Clash, The Ramones, Bad Religion, and Rancid.

If you like those and want some more just let me know, I'm always happy to help those who want to know more about Punk.

  • @xpredox wait i love oi punk bands and streetlight they both have brilliant ideas. i like against all authority leftover crack youth squad and adamant allies as well as catch 22 bandits of the acoustic revolution and the specials

  • @xpredox 'revolutionary band' lol u better calm down

    good song tho

  • @xpredox actually thats the car commercial definition of revolutionary. revolution means when something goes around and returns back to where it started. (like the earth around the sun) in social terms it means to remove the current hierarchal status quo and return to free, equal societies. it doesnt neccesarily mean to improve something or made a radical change, but it can.

  • @xpredox hold up gotta step in here. i will give it to you that neither big d or reel big fish has the complexity in structure or sheer natural musical talent of streetlight manifesto, but you can't say they weren't revolutionary and brilliant in their own right. sure, maybe reel big fish followed in a lot of footsteps, but they're still a great band carrying on a great scene and giving people a good time. and big d has a totally unique sound and approach to the energy. one of my favorites.

  • @xpredox Whoa! Don't be dissing the Fish.

  • @SKANKI5M go for big d and the kids table less than jake and reel big fish for ska

  • @SKANKI5M Nofx, Rancid, Flogging Molly, The Secretions, Lag Wagon,Millencolin, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, And i will think of more when i am not tired and partially wasted

  • @SKANKI5M Reel Big Fish is a band u should deffinatley check out

  • @SKANKI5M dude try "Tijuana no" its Spanish ska but still awesome!!

  • @SKANKI5M

i like 2tone (The Specials,The Selecter, The Beat,Madness,Bad Manners, and The Bodysnatchers.)

but thats older ska slower and more traditional not really like this but good nonetheless!

  • @SKANKI5M Try Less than Jake, Reel big fish, Sublime, Zebrahead, Rancid, Frenzal Rhomb. All good ska/punk.

  • Comment removed
