@HamRacing73 : you're missing my whole point. There's nothing wrong with racing on dirt... fine. It's for hicks but fine. My point is when I try to find an authentic stock care race (not the bullshit hick shit that's popular) where some dudes by some stock factory cars and race them... I want to find out which one wins. This video has nothing to do with the street or to do with a real stock car that you could buy. It's totally the wrong title for what this video is. That's all i'm saying.
@HamRacing73 asphalt is for pussies... hahahaha... asphalt is for people who have evolved over the years. Hey hick: there's something called a street... it's smoother to ride on and you can go faster. Dirt is for dirty hicks like you.
LOL i love the guy that yells "yeah, yeah" in excitement after this guy about wipes the leader out and swats him up the hill. LOL Interesting track though...love the short tracks.
This isn't street stock racing, this is Late Model stock car racing. Street Stock cars are cars that "[consist] of only street vehicles that can be bought by general public".
@Radejr47464 why's it in the dirt? I was trying to find a video where you would race factory cars... I thought it was called street stock. This isn't the street and the cars are not stock factory models. so I really don't get why this is called street stock. What's the type of racing where you just race cars you can buy out of a manufactures lot?
so... what's the best way to start racing without being in a racing family? Seems like if you're in a racing family and you want to race, it's a sure thing. How to ease the disadvantages of NOT being a racing family? (even though my great grandfather races in the Indy 500 and many road races up until 1953).
yeah lol that's how it is with local racing, can't believe some people complain about NASCAR and it's mediocre 15HP advantages over one another. If you've got less HP, that means you've got less tire wear. I'm no setup buff, but I've been told that when the Lajoie family dominated local racing in the East... the only way you could beat em was "make your tires harder" and only race em in long races where tire wear came into play. That was in the early 80s tho. Not sure if it would work 2day
yeah i dont no, we run pretty soft compound, but so does every1 else because they got the money to buy 20000$ cars and a new set of tires every couple of months haha, we bought our car for 3500 haha
i live in kokomo so i stay around here i mainly go to kokomo, bunker hill (if its running that year), or gas city ive heard of this track it it any good? im asking is it worth the hour drive?
they are street stocks at paragon this was mechanics night i was racing first time ever sitting in the car i didn't even get to go out to practice because of a problem with the distrubuter

sounds like they are running berts and brinns? Do they run four barrels too? This class seems more like super stocks to me.
