what an absolute waste of tax oayers money helicopters are.Using a 4 million quid cpter to chase a £1000 car plus untold amount of police cars has to be an abuse of ratepayers money.They have radios ,,,quicker than a copter !!!! and even when they dont fly we still have to pay for them Scrap them and get coppers back on the beat where they belong. It will save an average of £6 000 000 PA per county

I fail to believe they would send you the footage, this has clearly been ripped off the net, or whatever, as it has obviously been posted on TV or to the internet at some point. The police, nor courts, give crown evidence which belongs to the police in the first place, it just doesn't happen.

Perhaps you should also consider the person behind the wheel was an attacker, mugger and abusive guy in his 20's who has been on the run for several years stealing cars and mugging /attacking young girls!
I for one am glad they caught this guy who stole our car shown above and beat my husband thank you very much!
It's not as though they can ram him off the road like in a computer game!
We in England only need 1 police car and the helicoptor, not like american police thinking they are going fast if they get up to 80 miles an hour and useing 20 cars to try and stop them what a waste of money
