I don't really know why people still say vista is bad. I'm running Vista SP2 (I got the machine when it came out) and I have NEVER had to reboot my pc due to a fault.
I have a PC which is out of date, and a top of the line Mac. As a director, I use the Mac for film editing. I can't stand using it for anything else. My out of date, several year old PC does things a thousand times better. Yeah, it crashes sometimes- they both do. With the PC, I can fix things- ctrl+alt+del, end process, back to normal. When I'm on the Mac, I get that annoying circle of colors, and there's nothing I can do until it fixes itself, which it rarely does. PCs are far better.
This was hilarious but not really relevant anymore. Windows 7 is pretty neat and functions well. I have it installed in Bootcamp for all my gaming needs. The best of two worlds, just a click away...
This is bullshit, ran Vista for a while now and no crashes yet, =D just goes to show how biased commercials can be (I have nothing against Mac users or the Mac itself).
im a mac user to, the 15 inch MacBook Pro and i've never ever had it crash or anything at all XD
its true that mac owns the damn pc's XD
course we pay more but the rest of the apple stuff is almost free :P softwares and other things arent expensive, the service is awesome aaand the only thing that really is expensive is the hardware but its not that exoensive compared to Alienware M17x filled with the best stuff you can choose cuz that costs like.. triple price of the 17 inch macbook pro XD
@tabbiepsu A lot of software is expensive, unless it was developed by Apple itself, the majority of that software runs both on pc and mac. Its safe to say that the free stuff you "might" get comes from Apple. Its actually cheaper to make your own PC (laptops excluded) than to buy a Mac. Why? Probably because when the day comes a pc user has to upgrade definitely, they don't dish out another $1500-3000 grand to upgrade to something new. Just saying. *whispers* mac book air. wtf was that thing?
There's this new wonderful thing called Windows 7
