Excuse me but IMO i think that all the songs of Belanova have a more elaborated bass than the ones of Blonde Redhead (with its exeptions of course like Misery is butterfly that well, its not so elaborated but i love it)

actually this vid and the whole album misery is a butterfly came about because of a horrific accident that happened to the lead singer kazu makino. she was thrown from a horse and kicked in the face, she didn't know if she would ever sing again. the album is a compilation of songs she wrote during that time. sometimes its nice to know the meaning and the explanation for something because it makes the end result more clear and sensical.
