And you can buy one at the local hardware store(on Earth) and use them at normal atmospheric pressure. And yes they generate Plasma. @xraptor103 you fail, plasma is found naturally in lightning, the auroras in the upper atmosphere, and in neon lights, it's not heat that causes plasma, you need a whole new element to seperate it's electrons from the nucleus. that would be electricity, the charge causes electrons to flow freely through the particles, basically its a gas, with the electrons nolonger bonded to the individual atoms. another way of creating plasma is a static electric shock.
