Hindi (also beautiful and sophisticated)

Cantonese( less sharp than mandarin sounds appeal to me more, like those above)

Japanese (like the lower more even toned sounds, less up and down)

These are my favourites in order. Thank you for uploading this! It was an interesting exercise with my eyes closed. I am currently learning Korean and will likely try Mandarin afterwards for commerce.

The reason why it seems that way, and why even the Vietnamese themselves think that they have a monosyllable language, is because a word whether 2 or 3 syllables long will have spaces between the syllables no matter what. This is because the Vietnamese use to use their own variety of the chinese characters and each character has a space between them, and this habit of spacing just carried over.

I bet that most of the people who say Korean sounds the best are influenced in some way by Korean entertainment. Whether it's through Kpop, Dramas, movies, etc.

Also this is a very biased video, the majority showing "dialects" based from the Chinese. Not taking in consideration that there are different dialects from other Asian countries, as well as the audio used is a small sample and is only one person speaking. Not everyone from those countries speak like that.

I have a feeling that news reports are not read in the same conversational manner that you would hear in the streets. The Japanese news reporter just sounded so artificial and nothing like my japanese coworkers and I suspect the same for most, if not all, of the other languages. As far as what sounds the best? I'd rather go with the content of the speech, rather than what it sounds like to my foreign ears.

They prefer both dubbed) thus choosing not to watch Korean drama but some got used to it later.
