@whosFNG Ah dear. You don't know much about your PS3 do you. Turn your PS3 off. Then press and HOLD the on button. It will bleep once, when it turns on, keep holding it and it will bleep again. This will reset the video output for the PS3 to whatever is plugged in. Try asking next time.

@HiJono1 When you are using Video Studio, be sure to change the source to Syntek STK1150/1160 < Depending on which model Easycap you have.

@HiJono1 That means the drivers haven't been installed or haven't been installed correctly. As there is normally 3 choices for ULEAD sources. One is normally a webcam as most people have one and the drivers are on the computer from day one. The second can sometimes be a TV tuner depending on your computer once again, but you need to install the Easycap drivers. Otherwise the computer wont recognise the Easycap.

You connect the laptop with the easy cap and the other end of the easy cap with the ps3 av wires. the other end of that wire goes into the ps3. The ps3 is connected to the tv via an hdmi cable. We then follow your instructions and click capture video. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

@SCxJGTx actually, you can. just plug in your standard AV cable into the easycap. and plug in your component cables into the back of your tv. on your xbox, there is a switch that puts out HD or TV. switch it to TV and plug in the HD component cables. it is tricking your xbox. good luck ;)
