No launchers – can’t because of the dodgers – not that we would anyway. We do have self steering, but it is never as good as the tried and true method of steering with your foot !! Because the spinnaker is so small on the M it is no problem to set and fly single handed. I often set mine and then set about reading a book on downwind legs. : )
Wow. Love what you did to the Mirrors and the great adventures you've had. I just renovated a mirror myself (see my vid) and have learnt a lot from you two about how to set them up to cruise.
Also amazed that you flew the kite single handed... Did you use a launcher or the old fashioned method of tying down the tiller and going forward?
great video, would be interesting to know how you stored all that kit for the trip,i have a mirror and thers not a lot of room,if you could be so kind in passing on some info
That looked like a fabulous trip; would love to do it myself. Have spent a year doing a wooden Mirror up (on and off)and hope to launch it this weekend and see if it sinks. If it doesn't (it won't) I hope to post a vid or two of it l8a. Thank you for your vid, really enjoyed it.
Loved this video! Also the stills were very evocative. I have a 12' dinghy on the Essex coast and if the 2 sisters visit the UK they are most welcome to take a trip in it!
where does one go to meet wonderful young ladies such as these?
