I honestly don't get what people like about smoking cigarettes. I can enjoy a cigar, but I can't stand the smell of cigarettes. Well, it probably depends on the brand though.

No wonder, when I smoke a cigarette fully naturally made on a farm, it is EXTREMELY different from the ones I buy at the store. The ones you buy at the store are like crack, they're strong yet smooth, and addictive as fuck.
They don't want to stop people from smoking. They make way to much money of taxing it. Especially in a country like the US, where there is no government healthcare. Honestly, what could your government, with little interest in public health costs etc., possibly gain from banning something they can tax the shit out of? Nothing.
Even in Europe, where we do have public healthcare, taxing cigs apparently outweighs the costs of public healthcare on cig-caused problems.
no one in my family smokes only my grandpa and grandma did and she quit when she back in the 60s and he quit after a heart attack in 1993. Both still alive in their early 70s

I've smoked for three years myself and experienced nothing aside from the usual, and my neighbor has smoked for 60 years. If I told him smoking causes lung cancer he would laugh in my face.
if you ask me, i say NAS (natural american spirit) cigarettes are WAY better for you. they dont carry a single chemical that all other cigs do. while they are more harsh on the throat cuz tobacco naturally is strong, its all natural.
@FeneGrenkle i started smoking because i heard it made vicodin feel even better and it did. Once i kicked the vicodin the smoking stayed until recently. Never really thought it was cool. Was actually kind of ashamed of it.
I would like to say, that before i smoked i weed, i was a chain smoker.
I smoked as often as i could, whenever i could. without a cigarette i became bitchy and irritable. I knew i was addicted, but i didnt know how to stop. My friends introduced me to weed. i then replaced weed with cigarettes, it was easy. I didnt have a craving for ciggs anymore. it was amazing, a miracle. I now smoke 5 - 10 grams a month. which is better than 10 dollars every 3-4 days for ciggs.

My husband smokes one cigarette a day and has for years; it's a relaxing, before-bed ritual for him. I, on the other hand, can't get by on less than 10 a day. I wish I'd never started; I've tried to quit so many times...

ive never understood why people smoke. i smoked half a pack for 2 weeks to see what the fuss was all about. i could tell i was addicted and for the first week i stopped i couldn't sleep a night i would wake up sweating and i was very irritable. i dont know what smokers get from smoking i just felt like shit and i couldnt run without my lungs burning. it angers me that people are so stupid.

It never ceased to amaze me even when I was a young boy, surrounded by relatives who smoked, watching strangers young and old, males and females, taking up sucking that cig. Never.

I used to smoke for six years, then when I start gym I simply stopped smoking. I just wanted, and did. Before this, I knew all the bad things a cigarette causes, I knew, and I liked it, I liked cigarettes, cigars, I just liked to smoke, a millenial habit. And now that I´ve stopped I can tell you because I´ve been on both sides. 90% of the smokers smokes because they want to, consensually with all the harm the cigarette can do. Just like a pilot with a Formula 1, or a fireman on his duty.

If you actually started smoking after you turned 18 you are one of a very small minority. If it is now a choice I would challenge you to stop. Most smokers can't quit without some form of aid and even then over 80% of the people that try to quit fail. Big tobacco knows educated adults don't start so they target the youth. And once they start they can't stop.

What about my American Spirit additive free tobacco pouches? Isn't that just tobacco? There are some hefty stems in there, so it seems like they didn't reconstitute them.
"Organic" and/or "natural" tobaccos, while still greatly potent in the biological sense, do not carry half of the risks of "Big Tobacco" cigarette brands, and actually have some health benefits when used in moderation.
That is interesting, I have not heard of any health benefits. I smoke a few cigs a day, not really 'in moderation' but it is less than most smokers I know. Try to stay healthy!

I've smoked for three years myself and experienced nothing aside from the usual, and my neighbor has smoked for 60 years. If I told him smoking causes lung cancer he would laugh in my face.

I would like to say, that before i smoked i weed, i was a chain smoker.
I smoked as often as i could, whenever i could. without a cigarette i became bitchy and irritable. I knew i was addicted, but i didnt know how to stop. My friends introduced me to weed. i then replaced weed with cigarettes, it was easy. I didnt have a craving for ciggs anymore. it was amazing, a miracle. I now smoke 5 - 10 grams a month. which is better than 10 dollars every 3-4 days for ciggs.

The other thing about Marijuana is that it only gets you high for a very short period of time. Smokers are of sound, mind, and body. You can go to the bar and get drunk and drive and kill somebody. I highly recommend the "tobacco wars" documentary on youtube, it''s really an excellent,excellent documentary that covers the whole epic story that is tobacco.

So if a cigarette that is made with reclaim gets sent back to the factory to be used as more reclaim, it's like a never-ending cycle of re-using old cigarettes to make new ones. The tobacco you're smoking in a cigarette could be 10 or 20 years old!

@mosiefool I highly recommend smokers to start using roll your owns or make your own's. Especially since Manufactured brands are now FSC due to government mandate. Fire Safety Compliant - This means that the paper has ETHYLENE VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMER. This is Carpet Glue, This wasn't voted on it was just under table law that is FORCED. This carpet glue is 'supposed' to be used for putting out the cigarette. But this shit is making people have severe problems, in short amount of time! Look it up.

I used to smoke for six years, then when I start gym I simply stopped smoking. I just wanted, and did. Before this, I knew all the bad things a cigarette causes, I knew, and I liked it, I liked cigarettes, cigars, I just liked to smoke, a millenial habit. And now that I´ve stopped I can tell you because I´ve been on both sides. 90% of the smokers smokes because they want to, consensually with all the harm the cigarette can do. Just like a pilot with a Formula 1, or a fireman on his duty.

Smoking is gross and is a disgusintg filthy habit. A good looking woman who smokes is the most ugliest one. Nicotine is the most addictive drug even over heroin and cocaine. The tobacco companies raise the levels of nicotine levels all the time to keep you hooked. They are worse than your local drug dealer

@fasteddie847 - Hey Asshole, don't blame everything on the Tobacco companies, when It's the consumer who chooses to buy. No-ones forcing anyone to smoke or use tobacco. It's a choice. If you choose to buy a product thats enhanced with molecular engineering to be more addictive then you have the "CHOICE" not to, or you can "CHOOSE" to. You're more ignorant then a rock Smoking in this era when you know the risks, well it's YOUR fault if death is tobacco related! This is coming from a smoker.

@stupidgaylogincrap Thanks for the kind comments! But it is the tobacco companies fault. Smokers don't smoke because they choose to. They're addicted to the nicotine. Nicotine is the most addictive drug over cocaine and heroin. Smokers will say stuff like they enjoy to smoke or choose to etc, when in fact they are addicted and can't quit. Tobacco companies raise the nicotine levels in cigs all the time to keep you hooked. All they care about is getting kids to start smoking

@stupidgaylogincrap I know it has been a while since you said what you said, but the tobacco industry is to blame. They target youth. If you actually started smoking after you turned 18 you are one of a very small minority. If it is now a choice I would challenge you to stop. Most smokers can't quit without some form of aid and even then over 80% of the people that try to quit fail. Big tobacco knows educated adults don't start so they target the youth. And once they start they can't stop.

"Organic" and/or "natural" tobaccos, while still greatly potent in the biological sense, do not carry half of the risks of "Big Tobacco" cigarette brands, and actually have some health benefits when used in moderation.

That is interesting, I have not heard of any health benefits. I smoke a few cigs a day, not really 'in moderation' but it is less than most smokers I know. Try to stay healthy!

@mosiefool I don't smoke around anyone. Thanks for the concern, but maybe you shouldn't make stupid assumptions and post lame responses to everyone's comments. That is what's really sad. Use your time more wisely, if you want to be helpful. Try to talk to a smoker face to face, it would be more effective.
