@DonSelwashington Agree completely. Putting aside my bias of being a big fan of Leona Lewis, it's still one of the best albums ever recorded. To think that it got nothing, no Brits, no Grammy's is painful every time I think about it. 'Spirit' was great and I loved it, but 'Echo' really was in another league.

Since we all seem to agree that Syco has done a terrible job promoting her, we have to do something about it. Unsurprisingly Syco has little listed contact info, but we have to do what we can to get the message across that having her promote only on X Factor is not enough. She needs billboards, huge ads on iTunes, performances all over TV, and multiple singles out before the album. Whether it's postal mail, twitter, etc. please help get the message out! Don't let her career go to zero!
It's a shame that the album has been pushed back, but if it means she'll get more time to produce something she's really proud of then that's the main thing. It doesn't mean she won't release any singles before the album is released. Since she has already performed the song 'Glass Heart' (at G-A-Y), it would appear that's a finished piece and may be one of the upcoming singles. Take your time, Leona, you are doing the right thing.
I wish people would stop hating on the album cover for Glassheart . It's her best album cover yet. The colors are so lively and full of energy. It just makes you think the album is packed with beauty,excitement, and radiance. And the two stars under her eyes are beautiful . Stop saying it's generic just because leona has gotten more lively with her art. Honor your art

I discovered it from deanpipers twitter that He has heard Leona's song Trouble and it's almost like heaven by Emeli sande tempo wise he also said they are perfecting the song right now. And he announced Leona will be going to LA to work with adeles set fire to the rain producer for two weeks.
Album has been pushed back to Nov 26! Leona is upset that her song leaked: "I'm sad that one of my songs leaked. As an artist that holds music dear to my heart I would've liked to share it with u when it's ready." I'm sure when it comes out it will be amazing.
Leona is the best female voice at the moment. However I believe Syco is ruining her career, she should leave it. Simon Cowel uses her as to show off. When she had that interview, she believed it will release early 2012, as far as anyone can legitimately tell that is still the plan. Complaining won't bring it any closer... her label may only see it as dissatisfaction in the album so far... and then they WILL scrap the what they have.
If we show support, then they will see the album is ready to be released for the public.

There's been rumers of a song called Cold Hearted. I got the title from a blog that new about the delay of the album about a month before amazon announced it. It's described as one of Leona's beat vocals the blogger accidentally let the title slip when someone on twitter asked him his favorite Leona song. I know it might not be true but Get Over It!
Some blogs actually have information that they are not supposed to share yet. So it's reasonable
@MrFallendancer Completely agree! People need to take it easy, Leona will release it when it is ready, we just need to wait. Leona has been tight lipped, but I feel that she has because she wants to surprise us and avoid giving too much information, its better to give a little than go overboard and overhype the whole thing.

@sorandomremix03 Thanks! Yeah, Leona is an almost flawless singer, and... she is still a great writer, and needs to nurture that. Leona still chooses songs that she connects with and that help compose the album as one experience. That is still artistic expression.
I think she just needs more experience and inspiration for the her writing, because she has the ability as we have seen with songs like GH, Happy and WIT, she just needs to bring out of her more often.
The label lacks confidence in their own product... Had they not released the EP, and either went on to perform Trouble at that XFactor, then up until launch they could have then released Blankpage, then Lovebird as singles. Then Glassheart as a launch single alongside the album... unfortunately they got scared because of the under performance of Collide.
The label is really incompetent... I was hoping they would avoid covers this era... but I still have faith for an amazing album.
Ah from the other tracks we've had I was looking forward too Glassheart but this is such a boring generic song that could have come from any of her previous albums.. nothing new, nothing special or exciting vocally/musically about this song. But im still keeping faith for the album!

I didn't really know how to word it, because I know Leona loves music and its what she really wants. She did co-write Glassheart (the song) which imo is lyrically her best songs yet, and I would love to see that grow. That is why I worry she has the drive for it, because she has so much potential, but its like her label is holding her back...

@bryce20101996 Yeah, I have heard from people that they think that November 26 could just be a place holder that the label is setting as the time in which they will give her to get things together in the studio. She is constantly assuring fans that "its coming" on twitter, as if to say it won't be too long.
I think we may end up getting the album by April, a single during feb and march, which would lead into the launch quite well. So I don't think we will be waiting too much longer at all. :D

@sorandomremix03 Ok... Unfortunately Leona hasn't really embraced writing her own music, she has done it in several songs, but she has yet to prove that she can really create something hit worthy. Don't get me wrong, I love Leona's voice and her music, but at the moment, she hasn't really put the effort in it as others have, I think in some ways she is happy to have others do the work for her every now and then.
She still needs more time to discover her artistic direction.

Well I don't really follow twitter. In the end I want the best for Leona and her career, if I have to wait a dozen more months for her to gain worldwide recognition as one of the best singers, then I will wait, because she deserves to be given the best chance to do so.

What I love about this song...
1. Its cheesy in a sweet way, yet conveys plenty of emotion and sophistication.
2. It really displays Leona's growth as a singer... her voice has never been so clear.
3. The vibrato at the end of phrases and quick, which almost sounds like a bird tweeting.
4. Only heightens my excitement for the album and faith in its flavour and substance

There's been rumers of a song called Cold Hearted. I got the title from a blog that new about the delay of the album about a month before amazon announced it. It's described as one of Leona's beat vocals the blogger accidentally let the title slip when someone on twitter asked him his favorite Leona song. I know it might not be true but Get Over It!
Some blogs actually have information that they are not supposed to share yet. So it's reasonable

@MrFallendancer Completely agree! People need to take it easy, Leona will release it when it is ready, we just need to wait. Leona has been tight lipped, but I feel that she has because she wants to surprise us and avoid giving too much information, its better to give a little than go overboard and overhype the whole thing.
Also... it will just be amazing when she hits the world with her new single and unexpectedly, yet not surprisingly, blows everyone out of the water.

@sorandomremix03 Thanks! Yeah, Leona is an almost flawless singer, and... she is still a great writer, and needs to nurture that. Leona still chooses songs that she connects with and that help compose the album as one experience. That is still artistic expression.
I think she just needs more experience and inspiration for the her writing, because she has the ability as we have seen with songs like GH, Happy and WIT, she just needs to bring out of her more often.

The label lacks confidence in their own product... Had they not released the EP, and either went on to perform Trouble at that XFactor, then up until launch they could have then released Blankpage, then Lovebird as singles. Then Glassheart as a launch single alongside the album... unfortunately they got scared because of the under performance of Collide.
The label is really incompetent... I was hoping they would avoid covers this era... but I still have faith for an amazing album.

Ah from the other tracks we've had I was looking forward too Glassheart but this is such a boring generic song that could have come from any of her previous albums.. nothing new, nothing special or exciting vocally/musically about this song. But im still keeping faith for the album!

Obviously Leona wasn't happy with the album and wants it to be her best album because to her the third album is the most important, as a fan I know how much the number three means to her. I am willing to wait for a masterpiece. She did give us Hurt its not as if she doesn't care about us.

I still read people going on she doesn't write her own music, just a question have you read the booklet you get with the cd with the songs lyrics and stuff in it !? It says who wrote the songs and stuff, Leona write or co-wrote everything in echo except for "My Hands" in which sqaure enix had staff write it , but back to my point , shes amazing, look at artist like katy perry she doesn;t write her own songs , her voice imo is average yet she gets #1 after $1's , when Leona should , am i right ??

@bryce20101996 Yeah, fair enough, she can write music. Imo, I just think Leona needs to take control of it more, not letting the label tell her how to go about it... I don't doubt that sometime in the future she will be able to take control of it, but at the moment I don't see her drive.
Its why we got Collide, which, while a good song... lacks a hook or development throughout. Leona can do far better. I want to see her as an artist and not just a singer as amazing as she is.

I didn't really know how to word it, because I know Leona loves music and its what she really wants. She did co-write Glassheart (the song) which imo is lyrically her best songs yet, and I would love to see that grow. That is why I worry she has the drive for it, because she has so much potential, but its like her label is holding her back...

@bryce20101996 Yeah, I have heard from people that they think that November 26 could just be a place holder that the label is setting as the time in which they will give her to get things together in the studio. She is constantly assuring fans that "its coming" on twitter, as if to say it won't be too long.
I think we may end up getting the album by April, a single during feb and march, which would lead into the launch quite well. So I don't think we will be waiting too much longer at all. :D

@sorandomremix03 Ok... Unfortunately Leona hasn't really embraced writing her own music, she has done it in several songs, but she has yet to prove that she can really create something hit worthy. Don't get me wrong, I love Leona's voice and her music, but at the moment, she hasn't really put the effort in it as others have, I think in some ways she is happy to have others do the work for her every now and then.
She still needs more time to discover her artistic direction.

@sorandomremix03 Yeah, just in my opinion, the album cover looks to manufactured and artificial, there was a lot more sincerity and beauty in the way she modelled for the Spirit and Echo albums and their singles.
Well I don't really follow twitter. In the end I want the best for Leona and her career, if I have to wait a dozen more months for her to gain worldwide recognition as one of the best singers, then I will wait, because she deserves to be given the best chance to do so.
