I'm so sad that they didn't eulogize Nora. I'm sure they didn't want the show to become maudlin but given that it was centered around older people, death is part of the cycle of life. Given that Nora was such an integral part of the series, I feel she deserved a proper send-off. It is too bad they didn't make a more fitting ending to the program after so many wonderful years. I was looking for tear jerker.
All the characters together in a bus riding off into the hills that were themselves a main character, and Peter Sallis having the last word - fitting for the last episode.
And I liked the touching exchange between Howard and Pearl about their wedding day. Sweet.
They could have made more effort for the last episode. They could have either mentioned Compo, Foggy and Nora a couple of times or maybe a montage of past episodes at the end.
Oh, I didn't realize this was the last episode--I was waiting impatiently for the next upload. I couldn't wait to see what happened after the wedding party. I was so hoping that Marina and Mrs Davenport and Morton would find love.
I guess the show couldn't go on forever, but they could have tried!

Whadya know? Peter Sallis, the only member leftover from the pilot episode, gets the last line of the series. Must've been some privelege.

I read somewhere that Tom Owen wasn't happy that the BBC ended the series without a special.

@twoface0 Yes I definitely read that Tom Owen wasn't very happy about how the BBC ended Last of the Summer Wine without a special.
How Not to Cry Wedding was filmed before the BBC made its announcement that Last of the Summer Wine was being axed.
