I had bacon for maybe 1 or 2 years, very popular British morning food. I have not eaten bacon for 18 months, nor any pork product. As you advise Ronen, one tep at a time. My next confrontations are wine and cigarettes. Here we say Torah, not Tanakh and other versions I have seen. Thankyou again Ronen. I am of the same age as you and we are all on a journey. Thankyou my friend
Yeah, I've taken a couple steps so far. I told my parents I want to be Jewish and bought a hebrew-english Tanakh but don't know how to approach a Rabbi.
I can be Jewish but my parents don't want me to be too religious.
My mom wants me to not be too stringent about Kosher.
My dad doesn't want me to be Orthodox.
If I can't keep kosher right away or fully celebrate the sabbath while living in my parents house is that grounds for not converting me?
To make the story short, I was a hard core christian and am now reverting back to the faith of my ancesters at the age of 19. I`m going to start the process of conversion soon and sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the many things I must learn. I`m loving it, but it definatly takes a while to get use to. Anyways, thank you for this video. It was cool! :D
The reason why I think this video touched me so much is because my family has sepharnic jewish ancesters. I`ve been aware of this since I was very young. All throughout my life I had felt this deep and special connection to Israel and the jewish people. It was something I couldn`t control and with every year that went by, it keeped getting closer.
Wow. I just viewed this video right now, and I`m blown away by the way you explained this. I must admit that I had seen a video or two of yours before, and I was a little intimidated by your zealousness. Yet, after seeing this video I see that you`re a very down to earth person.
You are entitled to your opinion, friend. But my Torah is eternal. It was only granted to man 3,320 years ao, but the wisdom of the Torah itself preceeded creation!
And the Torah is clear - men should be spilling their seed and we can partake of all that grows on G-d's good earth.
Again, I respect you and your opinion, but I respect G-d Almighty's Torah the most.
Is marijuana really acceptable by G-d? Are our bodies not the temple of G-d? I honestly think marijuana and tobacco are prohibited by the Tanakh. Doesn't marijuana kill brain cells, I think G-d doesn't want us contaminating our bodies. Why is marijuana justified and not cocaine or heroin?
You are way off here, friend. While the Torah does prohibit 365 things to the Jews, plants are not one of them. Anything that comes from the ground is kosher.
Of course we must use things in moderation and protect our health, but we are free to ingest all that grows on G-d's green earth.
Brother Tim - if G-d grants me to make it safely to visit you in Amsterdam on day, I'll gladly document the effects of this plant - and you can do me the favor of holding the camera...
If you see my videos on THC, you'll see right away that agree with you. This was simply judgement from my friends which at the time (when I didn't know Jewish law) I accepted from them.
At this point, THC is simply a plant G-d gave us here to enjoy. It's sad that we have to be law abiding citizens, but if I ever get to Amsterdam, you will be seeing a video showing clearly the beneficial effects of this plant - and of shrooms...

We all have a lot to learn - never be intimidated.
The journey of a thousand steps begins with just one.
And you have your whole life ahead of you.
I hope and pray that G-d Almighty blesses and protects you along the way.
