The game is nice, but it's very difficult to play without a map. I'm too young to have played this game when it was being sold, but I like old games and I LOVE Metroid series.

i played and is still my favorite of all time

Man when I first played this I could NOT put the controller down until I beat it. I got the best ending on my first go, after that it was just "Meh." Actually I know a Password good password for beginner players if anyone wants it. Just PM me.

The item in 8:30 is called the Varia.

It ups the suit's defense so Samus takes less damage from enemies.

@123TauruZ321 That's the Varia Suit. It reduces damage by one-half, and damage from sand pits/lava pits by 3/5

its the varia suit, if the power suit was left on it would have changed from yellow to orange, im not to sure about this game coz i usually just skip, but i think it lets you stand in lava for longer... =/

in other metroids it lets you stand in hot rooms which with out it you normally couldnt with out your health bar dropping
