Worst call I've seen this year, and there's been a lot. Usually I don't get excited, as bad calls tend to even themselves out, but this one had a direct impact on the outcome of the game. That is wrong and that official should be repremanded instead of supported.

this blows and sucks. This ref missed so many calls in this game. Remember it was also the head ref who said that Burris was "throwning" the ball when Chick knocked it out of his hand. Everyone watching could tell that except this guy. Riders had to waste a challenge to correct this moran who couldn't see from 5 feet away. Maybe it is time for Higgins to review penalties in overtime as well.

Yeah, John Chick got called for a new penalty in the CFL called "Roughing the Burris". It's similar in fashion to the "Roughing the Brady" call in the NFL.

Watch it again and again, Burris was SITTING up when Chick lowered his shoulders, he was trying to get up, he only layed down after he looked up and saw the 250lbs of man running at him, how easy is it to stop 250lbs running at full throttle with your shoulders down already?
