Man would have made resident evil 2 and 3 so much better if they had thought ahead a little bit and combined a little bit of each like having a character from resident evil 2 show up in 3 and Jill meet one of RE2s characters, or maybe have someone in 2 catch a glimpse of nemesis. And before anyone says anything, the beginning of RE3 takes place before RE2, and then part of RE3 takes place after RE2.

It does happen, as Jill you can find Marvin in the RPD unconscious on September 28th, 1998. And then one day later on September 29th, 1998 as Leon/Claire, you can talk to him. So there is a little bit of mixing. And at the end of RE3, you can see loads of dead Mr.Xs on the floor of the final boss area.

Sorry, but it still isn't working, I've completed it on hard mode 4 times since my last comment and still no mercenaries. When I finish the game, after the credits go by, it doesn't even ask if I want to save! I just go back to the menu. I think my game might be broken. :(

I hate it when they make these unrealistic endings with a chopper coming in to rescue. Seriously have you ever watched quarentine? they dont let people leave the building when the zombies run around. Like they actually would save them in a chopper.

And last, if you played the game you would be informed ahead of time that a chopper was coming to rescue Jill, not someone from the government, but Barry who is Jill's trusted partner.

2 things:

1) why a nuke? carpet bombing would have done the same, and no fallout in the midwest of USA.

2) since it was a nuke, why didnt the helicopter crash when the EMP should have fried its electronics?

Actually, your right! I thought it was staying to shoot Nemisis that unlocked Barry, mostly cause that's what I always did.

The brige gives you a scene where Nicoli gets killed by Nemisis. That's prolly why Carlos is able to find the choper.
