  • Excuse me. Must have been something I ate.

Straight to my favorites. Brilliant. And the singer's diction is superb. I have a cd version of this song and can't hear the words on it nearly as well as I do here.

  • @troubleclef

Glad you like it, thank you. The lyrics to this and many more are on my website. Somewhere among these comments is an Italian translation too. DF

  • What a brilliant 'trio.' Your comic sense and your singing are both excellent. Thanks for shedding 'light' on this aspect of 18th-century stage fare.

DF

  • Potresti tradurlo in italano?

  • Grazie, mi fa piacere che ti piace. DF

  • Lol

    XD XD XD XD

  • Obviously this chap is an Ignorant DF. Ignore him and may well disappear. Excellent rendition of a timeless classic!

  • A nice change from typical Purcell fare. Bravo.

  • Thank you. DF

  • LoL! I love English humor;)

  • Thank you. It was fun to record too. DF

  • Was it not difficult to fart and belch at the right moment? ;-)

  • funny and an accurate production. Very good

  • amusing...we sometimes forget that these were real people in the past...they did the same things as living people...

  • Amazing, beautiful! :))))))))) Thank you for posting!

  • The most entertaining thing I have ever seen on the local news (not that such a feat is difficult...). Too few people realise on the fact that there was humour, nonsense and rudeness in the past as well as solemnity and religion. Brilliant! Thanks.

  • I'm a history co-ordinator in a Grimsby primary school. I booked Dante for 2 sessions to play his music and tell his tales to 5 Y3/4 classes. The children loved it. Highly recommende4d to bring your Tudor topic alive. Thanks Dante. Nick.
