some iq tests don't ask for age so its hard to really map iq on standerds you can score perfect on 10 different iq tests and still get anywhere from 127+ which shows there is no true perfect way to judge iq you'd probably need to take a long and highly advanced test that covers every way and type of thinking and subjects. How sad to parade your kid for the media like that. My son is extremely gifted and protecting him from the "dog and pony show" was my highest priority when he was growing up. From very young age everyone told me how smart I was, always signed me up for every stupid competition there was. Many worldwide are ignorant of capitals. I had an Englishman try to tell me that capital of Australia was Sydney instead of Canberra and another who had never hit of the Faroe Islands and they had no clue where Iceland was. I have encountered people of differing nationalities who are ignorant of geography. There is a video of an American child who can not only name capitals, but point the countries and capitals out. She began when she was a year old. Nationality has nothing to do with it.

While an IQ of 156 shouldn't be sneezed at (hey, it's a whole tier above mine), I get so sick of people making references to her age.
Let me tell you something, your IQ doesn't increase as you get older because ALL scores are age corrected.
At this age, she probably isn't even as intelligent as the average adult, but she certainly will be an immense intellect when she's older. However, her IQ will remain at ~156 and she's certainly got nothing on Einstein...

The price to be able to jump through specific hoops is that the child loses its ability to perform other functions. IQ is only useful in being able to measure agains specific qualities. IQ is not how much you know and not what makes up your intelligence 100%. Albert Einstein was the smartest human being in history, his IQ was 160, William Shakespeare's IQ was 170. My mother's was 165 according to multiple tests, unfortunately though she hasn't won any Nobel prizes, much less fully deserves nor carries the title Einstein has. IQ also scales with age, obviously this little girl could probably never even comprehend college or university physics... yet. Though, she will one day.

some iq tests don't ask for age so its hard to really map iq on standerds you can score perfect on 10 different iq tests and still get anywhere from 127+ which shows there is no true perfect way to judge iq you'd probably need to take a long and highly advanced test that covers every way and type of thinking and subjects. Also, Even if you have a low iq or a high iq people always know something you do not even if you know 99.99999% of everything that 1 person could know .000001%of what you don't

How sad to parade your kid for the media like that. My son is extremely gifted and protecting him from the "dog and pony show" was my highest priority when he was growing up. From very young age everyone told me how smart I was, always signed me up for every stupid competition there was. In the end, I started to learn only what I overheard during classes, never did any homework for 8 years and scored average on everything. It made me a lazy spoiled brat who "had potential". I dealt with it after some life changing events, but everything made me a very complex person. You saved your son from a lot of internal struggle by doing what you did.

He was asking her to name the capitol of specific countries and so it was implied that America meant U.S.A (United States of America). Furthermore, it is Americas with an s that refers to the continent, not America. America is synonymous with US, United States, or U.S.A.
