air cooling is a smart idea for people that dont have a shit load of money to spend on water cooling. IF you buy a cheap water cooling setup, your bound to fuck your PC up. So for alot of people its good enough for them. They might not overclock, or might just a tad.

He has my sharp aquos, but a 42" and he was always lieing saying his refresh times were higher, which its not. Or that he cant even fit a whole webpage side to side on his 42". the danger den water blocks were the first 9800 GX2 water block. Now as for maxishine, I wouldn't trust a fucking word out of his mouth, he lies to much it isn't even funny. the new 300gb raptors, are the same speeds.. and dont even come close to the read time on a SSD. I wish lol, but nah, 700 bucks for a SSD right now, by x-mas they should be alot cheaper, and more worth it. Can you e-mail me a link to the site you say shows a 40-50% increase over the old raptors? And yes, with new video cards comes new water cooling blocks for them. It will always be so. Just takes a month or longer for the water blocks to come out, and good ones take even longer.

new 300gb raptor is 40mb/s faster then old raptors on read speed. my wd320gb b1 revision can beat old raptors. veloci-raptors are much faster then SSD too except for access time

I was going to get XFX motherboard and video cards (I should have bought XFX video cards) but I dont know how good a XFX motherboard would be.. as far as keeping it updated.. so I went with EVGA for that reason. Now as for the video cards, I went with EVGA cause thats what I went with on the motherboard.
