I don't recall running across anything that says that God doesn't love us as we are. His love is unconditional & if you haven't gathered that from the New Testament, maybe you should give it a read through.
It doesn't say that "God so accepts the world" - it's that he so LOVES the world. That's all Michael is saying. God loves him with his eyeliner, his trendy clothes, his rock n' roll music. Don't be so quick to judge & use harsh words against a man I can guarantee you've never even met.
