@raverbaby2001 Totally agree - we have been trying for years to persuade them to have HTID or Fusion or Hardcore Heaven in there. It would be a blast. The management need to wise up and realise that ravers are much less trouble these days - itys all about the music.
The openings director Graham Peel is about 90 yrs old yet part of his job is to ensure the standards and music is right!! What would an old codger like him know about modern dance music or what clubbers want?
@DW01 Firstly - Graham Peel is an experienced guy and undoubtedly knows what he is doing. He has been in the business for many years and experience counts for a lot. Secondly - I think 90 years old is somewhat of an exageration and Thirdly - I guess that the music choices are mainly down to the DJs and not personally selected by Graham Peel. I would imagine that Graham Peel is one of the members of staff who have helped to make Luminar Leisure the biggest nightclub brand in the country !

It just makes me laugh when people that aren't in touch with younger culture try to be some sort of authority..... I don't question his knowledge of the industry, only the music aspect.
@DW01 That is fair. Unfortunately it happens all the time - ( Simon Cowell, Pete Waterman, Elton John, Sting, Mick Jagger, Louis Walsh etc etc. ). In a way - you have to be older to have climbed to a sufficient level in the music industry. It`s a shame there aren`t more TV / Radio programmes run by young people for young people !
They represented the Military who used to own the building. It used to be the Territorial Army Centre and was owned by the MOD. During the day they did a formal handing-over ceremony.

LOL what a load of rubbish! yeh its nice in there but what makes a nightclub is the people and the music! the people are mostly portsmush lowlife chavs with little money to spend who like fast beat music!! the music too is usualy good but sumtimes can be awful! didnt go to the 1st open nite but tbh glad i didnt!! "vip"? the meaning of this has been ruined! very important person, in liquid? lol dnt think so! the people on the door think its the entrance to hollywood too!!!
I know cucumber is a vegetable. Some of my friends from there have a joke with a russian girl and the cucumber that she used for having a "deep through" hehehe u know what i mean...
