You seem to be the exception to the rule. The rule is people who cant sing bitch about how they get overlooked. Every audition Ive ever seen by someone who truly sucks ends with "one day your going to regret this and Im going to be bigger than ....and your going to wish you let me through" and the crowd and the whole workd knows they suck, everyone knows but the person singing. You have a nice voice and theres no reason not to make it. You need to find a place your whole image/voice is needed

Unfortunately it's the age of the "package artist" anyone that they can market and sell to have "mass appeal" they'll sign. There are a lot...if you can sing about an umbrella ella ella...as long as u looked good. Who cares if you voice is not up to par lol. But real music lovers will see through that mess. Don't stop singing...you have great talent!

Honestly , it should be atleast 50 50 or 60 40 in terms of talent and image.

But as most of you all would have known ; it is 70% image and 30% or less in terms of talent.

But even with that amount of image , it does not guarantee your standing in the top 70 or top 35 or top 12 onwards.

Look at Danny Noriega , he was kicked out because he was gay and too much for the judges to handle.

Another is Cody Sheldon , heck , he does have some controversial pictures on the net and A.I do check
